During the marriage of two Kharajyr, it is a custom for the male to bring a sacrifice to the ceremony. A chicken is the least respected sacrifice and a sentient being held in the highest regard.

Inzaea is a very small and weak Kharajyr, standing only 4'9. She has a small frame and flowing blonde hair. Her eyes have a beautiful sparkle of green like the jungle itself. Her fur is sleek and soft, the small black spots dotting it. She is very beautiful , and tends to wear green clothing the most.

 

What is the personality of your character like?:

 

Inzaea is a terribly shy and oversensitive Kharajyr. The smallest insult or threat will cause her to break down into soft and quiet tears. She has a strange need to feel protected by another Kharajyr, to receive the same feeling her parents once gave her. Her fear for apes is immense as is her fear for rejection within society. She is a very needy Kha, contrary to her kin. Even though her shyness and sensitivity, Inzaea usually has a very caring and sunny disposition. When she does talk, she is kind and her voice soothing.

 

Brief Biography of this character’s life thus far (taking into account the rules against creating a character born outside of the empire):

 

When Inzaea was born to two loving cheetrahs, they never wanted to let the cute, and furry kitten out of their sight. Seeing the creation of their endless love, the two cheetrahs neglected the kittens needs to leave the home and play with other kittens. Inzaea became overly attached to her parents, and felt very comfortable and protected. Each day they would play with her, feed her, teach her about Metztli and then put her to sleep. She enjoyed this calm cycle and loved her parents very dearly. At this point she had begun to develop her shyness towards anyone else but her parents. The curiosity of the kitten  which was low to begin with, ceased. 

 

As she grew into a cub, she was allowed outside more often, but had a very hard time communicating with the other cubs. She was too shy to join in their playful and fun brawls. At one point the other cubs totally erased her from existence  because she was not any fun... Just a staring Kha, not wanting to play at all. With such neglect she went home crying and only went outside to train with her father for the Adulthood test. All she had to do was simple running tests and hunting with her father which was rather easy for her. Inzaea's mother also taught her how too cook all kinds of sweets and wonders. Her life went on as usual, secluded and calm, and she continued her lessons on Metzli, becoming very faithful.

 

But the time came... She had to take the adulthood test now at fifteen. The crafting, jungle, faith, and Metzli trial she completed with ease, but the trial of survival was such a challenge it left a permanent mark on her. She hardly scraped through, wandering the ape lands, only the faith of Metztli and the possibility of seeing her family, keeping her from going insane. These apes, they were so violent and barbaric to her. Dwarves passed her smelling of sweat; humans tried to skin her. When she returned home she was left emotionally scarred having hardly survived. For days she sat at home before she was calm enough to move onto the trial of faith, and the trial of Metztli.

 

She completed her test and was now a Kharajyr adult. Fate would have it her parents were soon murdered by apes, forcing her to accept the fact that she was on her own. This left yet another emotional scar on her and the death of her loving and protecting parents made Inzaea depressed for a while. She sat by a tree and cried for many days, hardly eating. When she got over her munna and patta, she stood and looked out to the city. It was her time to make happy memories, friends, and begin her great life. So with that thought she went out into the world of her kin, with a smile.

 

 

Character’s ambitions within the Kharajyr:

 

Inzaea's main ambition is to fit in and be like all the other Kharajyr. All of her life she felt too secluded and calm, she wants to make friends and make the most of her life.

 

Even though she got over her parents, Inzaea was so attached to them that she needs a protective and caring figure in her life. Her second ambition is to find someone that would protect and care for her like her parents.

 

Character’s strengths/weaknesses:

 

Strengths:

 

-Inzaea is a very good cook, able to bake cakes, and cookies, as well as cook fish. She learned from her mother.

 

-Inzaea is naturally a very fast runner, able to go a couple of miles without getting tired.

 

-Inzaea is a novice hunter able to catch chickens and pigs.

 

Weaknesses:

 

-Inzaea is too emotional and sensitive.

 

-Inzaea is physically weak.

 

-Inzaea is not trained in battle.

 

-Inzaea is very shy.

Situational Roleplay Questions

 

1. You are heading home from a successful hunting trip when a group of three heavily armoured humans jump out from behind a tree and start demanding the surrender of your catch over to them. Each man has a sword drawn and they are gradually pacing towards you...

 

How does your character react?

 

Inzaea had a small chicken in her mouth, as she began to return home. She was on all fours and walking slowly to the vast jungle. Suddenly the clanking of armor, and shouting made her fur go up, goosebumps penetrating her skin. She turned around to see three armored apes looking at her, and pointing swords to her face.

 

"Give us the chicken, we are starving stupid cat!"

 

Inzaea began to tear up and she instantly put the chicken on the ground backing away, tears streaming from her green eyes. The apes chuckled and picked up the chicken watching her back away.

 

"Go to your jungle, you ugly monster."

 

The Cheetrah's dam was broken and waterfalls rushed from her eyes. She turned around and ran off with haste to the jungle, not stopping even for a second. As she entered the jungle, she began to cry more audibly, wiping her tears with her small paws. She lost her chicken and was insulted. Her day could not have been worse.

 

2. You arrive at the temple of Metztli only to see one of your closest friends stealing the sacred blue gems from the altar, a most unholy act for a Kharajyr.

 

How does your character react?

 

S'Inzaea gasps in the quietest of manners, not wanting to be seen by her 'friend', and not wanting to talk in the temple for it was not allowed. The cheetrah rarely grew angry, but disrespecting Metztli did indeed make her angry. The wonderful goddess had done so much for them, and here this pantera is stealing her gems.

 

The cheetrah turns around and runs off at full speed to the Tla. She rejects that the pantera was ever her friend as she speaks to the Emperor, who also grows angry. The next day the pantera is sacrificed to Metztli and S'Inzaea does not spare a single tear for someone so disrespectful to their goddess.

 

3. You are in the Cloud Temple when a stout, angry little dwarf begins yelling highly racist terms towards you at the top of his lungs. Although unarmed, the dwarf continues to yell after he makes eye contact with you.

 

How does your character react?

 

Inzaea, hating the insults, began to stream tears, as she looked to the Dwarf. The tip of her ears were red with embarrassment, and fury. Noting the unarmored ugly being, she began to approach him. The Dwarf chuckled and continued his insults, yelling louder as she approached. When Inzaea was close enough scratched the Dwarf's leg, bleeding instantly commencing. He howled in pain, as Inzaea ran off with tears in her eyes.

 

Her blonde her swished with the wind as the Dwarf came running after her. The Dwarf instantly gave up, as he saw the pretty Kharajyr speed off to the jungle.

 

4. Fire has broken out over the jungle city and you can hear the screaming of two Kha’ nearby. As you go investigate, you notice that one of your friends and the Tlatlanni’s white-furred child have gotten themselves trapped in opposite ends of a burning building. The roof creaks above you, if you were to get involved, you would only have time to save one before the building collapsed.

 

How does your character react?

 

As a cub, her father also gave Inzaea lessons on society. She was taught to always protect the Tlatlanni, and here she was staring at the future Tlatlanni and one of her closest friends. The cheetrah begam to cry as she made her decision, and ran in with her natural speed and picked up the small white-furred boy. She held the furry being and ran out with him, to safety. She could hear the screams of her friend as her fur and skin melted in the fire. The tigrasi was engulfed, and thus the screams of Inzaea's friend ceased, as did her breath. Metztli would take good care of her.

 

Inzaea sobbingly took the little future Tlatlanni home to his parents, who rewarded her with a diamond. She did not care for this diamond as she left someone to die that night. Inzaea buried the diamond near the ashes of the tree-house of her friend, saying her prayers.
