LedZep98 198 Share Posted March 11, 2013 My apologies for much of the colour mishaps within the format. I fixed what it allowed me to, but oddly enough much of it remained the same OOC InformationMC Name: LedZep98Have you read and fully understood Kharajyr lore?: Yesm.Have you read and fully understood the Kharajyr application rules?: Yesm 2.Do you understand and accept that the Kharajyr application team may revoke this application in the future if they deem it necessary?: Of course.Do you agree to both follow and uphold Kharajyr lore throughout your time in the Kharajyr?: Why wouldn't I?Tell us one unique fact about Kharajyr lore, culture or history that you know.(We will check for plagiarism!):Cake is a delicacy to the Kha, along with many other sugary treats. They are also forbidden to drink alcohol.IC InformationRP Name (This includes your character’s prefix): Ka'VafeeraCharacter Sub-race: Kha'LepardaCharacter appearance (Including age and gender): Vafee is a twenty eight year old, female Kha. She has a light, rusty brown colored coat, dotted lightly with bold spots. She stands just above five foot nine, and has pale green eyes. Her snout is short and stubby, and her ears perk up in an unusual manner. But, the most defining feature of Vafee is her rather pudgy, soft build. What is the personality of your character like?: Upon a first encounter, Vafee appears to be a perfectly sweet creature, an angel, almost. In fact, she seems this way to almost everyone, always, except for a select group. When around her family and /very/ close friends, especially her mate, she is demanding, and dominating. She's the queen of the house, and she makes sure everyone else knows it.Brief Biography of this character’s life thus far (taking into account the rules against creating a character born outside of the empire): From a young age Vafee has had an obsession with sugary sweets. From her first cookie, she was addicted. Her mother taught her to cook and bake from a young age as a kitten, and it became her passion. She had a rather normal, uneventful life growing up, simply working on mastering her art form. She followed the empire out of Asulon, to Elysium and Kalos, continuing to work simple, minuscule tasks among the tribes, never really making much of herself. Her first, and truthfully only triumph came from an encounter with several orcs. Shortly before their attack in Kalos, Vafee encountered a small Uruk scouting party, armed to the teeth, her only possession being a sack of baked goods she had prepared for her friends. The orcs simply looked down to the young Kha and laughed, leaving Vafee less than amused. They raised their weapons, and she was forced to think quick, reaching into her sack, pulling out a single cupcake. The orcs froze solid, looking down to the treat in awe, which she kindly lifted up, offering it to the massive creatures. The largest of the trio plopped it in his mouth and screamed out giddily in joy. The others looked to eachother, curious of their leader's pleasure, and looked down to Vafee, who had conveniently pulled out more. It was obvious, the orcs loved the treats, and so she did what any self-respecting cook would do - she led them back to her hut. The orcs begged her for more, and she happily oblidged, on one condition. The orcs treated her as a queen, sitting on their knees, offering to help lift her up, and even becoming her personal thrones. In return, she spoiled them, giving them treat after treat, until they were eventually satisfied, stuffed. They left, headed back home, and were reportedly found later at the edge of the jungle, passed out from the crash of the incredible sugar rush, and were dealt with swiftly. Character’s ambitions within the Kharajyr: Vafee's ambitions are humble ones, to find a controllable life-mate and to settle down, perhaps to open a bakery, filling it with a litter of kittens.Character’s strengths/weaknesses: Vafee's weakness is truthfully her lack of strength. She's a simply creature, only being skilled in baking and bossing around her mate and kittens. The only damage she can really do is perhaps a little scratch, or smack, should one of them misbehaves. Please provide a screenshot or 3D render of your character’s skin: Situational Roleplay Questions1. You are heading home from a successful hunting trip when a group of three heavily armoured humans jump out from behind a tree and start demanding the surrender of your catch over to them. Each man has a sword drawn and they are gradually pacing towards you...How does your character react?Vafee walks along the road, carrying her spoils, including two small rabbits, and one much larger one, when she spots the pig-skins. Being all too familiar with such situations, her immediate instinct is to run, though the men block her path home, and there is simply no way around them. She thinks quick, realizing that something must be sacrificed. She takes the two smaller rabbits and whips them at the two men on the right, hoping to disorient them, proving rather successful. She darts through the pair as the last of the men yells to his friends to get after the /creature/. But, as they turn to look back, they see that Vafee is long gone, way out of sight, a surprising feat for a pudgy Kha such as herself. The men turn to leave, taking the rabbits as their spoils. After they are a long way off, Vafee decides to emerge from her hiding place - it turns out she hadn't run at all, but merely dove behind one of the nearby trees. She takes what's left of her catch and begins working her way home.2. You arrive at the temple of Metztli only to see one of your closest friends stealing the sacred blue gems from the altar, a most unholy act for a Kharajyr. How does your character react? Vafee is one of the most loyal of friends - except when it comes to disrespecting Metztli, for which she has no tolerance. Immediatelly upon seeing the thief she turns, without hesitation heading to find the nearest Ja. Although it pains her to condemn her friend, she knows it is right, and must be done, though she wants no further part in it. She passes on the information and heads home to her family, not saying a word of it to anyone else, trying her best to get the event off of her mind. 3. You are in the Cloud Temple when a stout, angry little dwarf begins yelling highly racist terms towards you at the top of his lungs. Although unarmed, the dwarf continues to yell after he makes eye contact with you.How does your character react? Vafee hears the tiny ape with her keen ears (Not that she needed them, bloody loud dwarves can be heard from a mile away.) and wastes no time, moving to confront the half-man directly. She walks straight up to the dwarf and lets out a loud hiss right in his face. The dwarf remains unfazed, looking at her blankly for a moment before breaking out into laughter. "Ha! What, is the kitteh' upset!?" the dwarf cries, placing his hands down on his knees, hunched over from lack of breath he's laughing so hard. Vafee simply stands for a moment and pouts, her temper reaching it's peak, and then some. She sets in upon the unarmed dwarf smacking the top of his head repeatedly with her paw, like a mother disciplining a child. The dwarf hunches back, holding his hands up to try and protect his face. "Whoa now! Bah'd Kitteh'!". She continues relentlessly, smacking the dwarf time and time again, bopping him on the head. After a while of abuse, the dwarf falls to the ground in a fit, obviously submitting, and Vafee stands, feeling triumphant. She looks around, noticing all the people of the sanctuary have stopped what they are doing, and many monks looking her way. Keeping her pride, she simply stands straight and grins, beginning to stroll away.4. Fire has broken out over the jungle city and you can hear the screaming of two Kha’ nearby. As you go investigate, you notice that one of your friends and the Tlatlanni’s white-furred child have gotten themselves trapped in opposite ends of a burning building. The roof creaks above you, if you were to get involved, you would only have time to save one before the building collapsed. How does your character react? Vafee screams in horror at the situation, turning into full panic. She screeches out for help, waiting around for a moment before gathering her courage, knowing full well that it is her duty to assist her brother and sisters. She rushes to the Tlatlanni's kin, not because they are the Tla's spawn, but because they are a child, and the future of the empire. She rushes through the burning building, sweating so heavily that her coat becomes soaked, pushing past the fallen timber to reach the child. She finds the child trapped underneath a shaft of timber, and rushes to kneel down beside him. There is no possible way that she is strong enough to pull the child out from under, so she'll have to roll the timber off. Her maternal instincts kick in, and she doesn't hesitate, shoving the beam off with all her might, heavily singing her paws. She helps the boy to his feet and takes his paw in hers, which is rather uncomfortable with the burns. She rushes the child out of the building, hearing some of the structure collapsing, followed by screams as they make their escape. The pair emerge from the building to find themselves surrounded by other Kha, including the Tlatlanni, who she sends the child off to, moving away from the crowd, finding a secluded area behind a tree, where she breaks down into sobs.
