Role-playing:

To change your role or nature temporarily to fit a scene or event.

Meta-gaming:

Meta gaming Is when someone role plays that their character

knows something that they in no way could have known.

Power-emoting:

Being over-powered by with what you role-play. “I enter the bank and steal all the

money nobody notices and I walk away” this is frowned upon because this does

not allow any other to reply or prevent this role-play.

Information that you character knows you might know that someones sneaking up behind you but if you characters back is turned he does not.

Full Name: Charles Marshel Xavier

Past/History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): 

Charles Xavier was the son of a sailor (a Pirate). His father, Captain Didrik Xavier

was a gruesome Pirate he didn’t care for the lives of anybody. No woman or

child was left alive in the villages he pillaged. His crew was just as vile and

disgusting as he. But the one thing Didrik cared for more than anything was his

son. Charles saw his father as a hero like any boy. He wanted to be a pirate

just like him.

One day a rival Pirate crew stormed down Didriks home while he was away. They found

Charles and his mother celebrating the fact that Charles father was coming home

tomorrow. Charles used to pirates coming into the home got up and offered him a

cookie and some milk. The Captain laughed at him, snatched the plate and

smashed it over the side of his head. Charles then lay there drifting in and

out of consciousness watching as the Pirates brutally beat his mother to death.

He woke up to the smell of urine and blood. The walls and the floor were moving

around him and he was bathing in a pool of brown seawater. Being only six his

first instinct was to cry out for his mother. But almost as soon as the word

mother came to his head Images of her lifeless disfigured corpse began bouncing

across his mind. He started to sob quietly. The background noise of the ocean

and grown men competing to talk the loudest soothed him slightly because it

reminded him of being on his fathers ship. A door opened violently the light

blinding him. “Oh look who’s awake it be big bad Xavier’s son” He drunkenly

stumbled towards Charles. He was frozen with fear. The Pirate began beating him

and laughing. Charles could do nothing but curl in a ball and scream with pain.

The captain ran In “What are you doing? We need him alive!” He yelled. Cannon

fire erupted then an explosion in the side of the ship. “They’re here! Get the

boy, tie him up then hold him at gun point!” Bellowed the Captain. “Your

pappy’s come to say hello he said grinningly”

The events that followed this are not yet known…

He woke up in The Holy Oren Empire and has been living there ever since.

Charles will now make his own path trying to uncover what happened on that eventful

day…

 

Ambitions for the Future:

Seek revenge on the ones who so gruesomely murdered his mother and destroyed his

life. Restore his memory

Personality:

Charles is secluded and can often have a problem with his temper he refrains from

making emotional attachments in fear of being hurt, slightly socially awkward

not because he does not know how to interact but because he does not feel the

need to impress people. When he does create emotional attachments becomes

extremely protective. Is not very smart but what he lacks in education he gains

incredibly in street smarts.

Skills:

An excellent sailor and swordsman, can handle his liquor, leadership.

-He does not know how he lost his eye but he thinks of it as payment for not being

able to protect his mother.

-The cloak he wears used to belong to his father

1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily

making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good.

There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?

Answer:

Charles would leave him be, Following or investigating would him no good. He

does not feel the need to be a hero and save the day. He doesn’t want people to

notice him and doing something about it would draw attention to him.

2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in

which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed

with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear

to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword,

how do you react?

Answer:

Charles slowly walks up to the bandits from behind. I can take the first one out quick and

easy he thinks to himself but the second one will be a problem because he will

already be on-guard. So I must choose carefully which one will put up a bigger

fight and go for them first. He notices one is larger than the other and is wielding a heavier weapon he takes

out the lighter one and while the other one is readying his weapon he turns and

begins a duel he has the advantage of distance with his longsword and takes a

few steps back. While the bandit raises his hands for a swing he takes a strike

at his chest. [successful] he thinks to himself that this plan never would have

worked if they were anything more than mere bandits. He loots everything from

the bandits because that was his only reason for this. At least that’s what he

tells himself and walks away from the old man like nothing had happened.

3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man

standing behind a colorful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the

man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just

about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to

haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of

choice and the discussion that happens).

Answer:

[shopkeeper]-

“Hey you the grubby one with the eye patch”

[Charles]- Keeps walking

[shopkeeper]- “Hey come on I will give you a good deal on some bread”

[shopkeeper]- Grabs his collar

[Charles]- “Let go now...!”

[shopkeeper]- “Come on just look at our great prices”

[Charles]- Grudgingly walks back towards the stall

[Charles]- How much for the bag of apples

[shopkeeper]- “20 Minas”

[Charles]- “HAHAHAHA” “Your joking right?”

[Charles]- “15!”

[shopkeeper]- “18 no lower, I still need to make a

profit!”

[Charles]- “Look at them there bruised!” “Your

stubborn persistence takes me down to 13”

[shopkeeper]- “WHAT no!” “I will fall to your

earlier deal 15 minas”

[Charles] “Deal!” “Pleasure doing business with you”
