Character appearance (Including age and gender):

0+ and female. Seetah will be played from a newborn kitten. Much like her mother, Seetah’s fur will be a rusty brown colour but will take on her Father’s pale and golden spots within her fur. Her pale spots will be all over her body and along her tail. She will have a white muzzle and ears that perk up unless she is upset, when they will flop down.

 

What is the personality of your character like?:

Seetah will be a very playful kitten, like her father. She will have a very firm and bossy streak about her which she will get from her mother but will otherwise be very laid back. She will be very sweet but very mischievous. She will try to get into as much mischief as she is able...so long as her mother isn’t around. I’d like Seetah to attract trouble like a magnet and bad luck; She will be the “clumsy kha”. This will be her personality right through her adult life. 
Brief Biography of this character’s life thus far (taking into account the rules against creating a character born outside of the empire):

Sa’Seetah is a kitten from Ka’Vafeera and Ko’Dato’s litter. She is a very lively and adventurous kitten, who is naturally curious about the world around her. She loves to spend time with her brothers and sisters, especially bossing them around; a trait she has inherited from her mother. Seetah is interested in history and finds it fascinating, spending time with her Father to learn it. Seetah is looking forward to learning how to bake and cook with her mother and help her around the home. 

Character’s ambitions within the Kharajyr:  

Seetah will take after her father and explore, studying history as she goes. History will be her passion and she will strive to be a historian; gathering knowledge wherever she may go.
Character’s strengths/weaknesses:

Seetah is naturally intelligent; picking up skills such as reading quickly. This is what enables her to study and have her keen interest in history.
She is naturally charismatic and playful; a trait picked up from her father, and will come across friends easily.
Unfortunately, Seetah will also be fairly bossy, knowing exactly how she wants things done and will not hesitate to let others know it if it is wrong. This can be seen as rude even if that is not the intention.
Seetah was raised to be a peaceful Kha and will not fight back; even if it is called for. She would not be good in a fight and would probably offer hospitality to settle an argument rather than a brawl. She is also incredibly calm which can be a disadvantage, as she sometimes would be blind to see the seriousness of a situation.

Situational Roleplay Questions

1. You are heading home from a successful hunting trip when a group of three heavily armoured humans jump out from behind a tree and start demanding the surrender of your catch over to them. Each man has a sword drawn and they are gradually pacing towards you...
How does your character react?

 

Seetah pads her way down the road, the corpse of a fluffy white lamb in her mouth. Each of her brothers and sisters had been asked to fetch one thing small for that night’s meal and she was no exception. She turned the corner, and out jumped the Apes. She was startled, nearly dropping the lamb completely and running but stopped.
She looked at each of them in turn and tried to stay composed.

“Hand it over, kitty cat.” One of the men purred at her.
Seetah stood up on her hind legs and looked at them carefully. She put the lamb in her paws and says in as much of a normal tone as possible “Seetah weel shawer” The men laugh sadistically as they begin to close in “I think it’s time I get a new coat, lads” one of them sneers staring at Seetah’s pelt.
As quick as she can, Seetah drops the lamb and speeds away on all fours. She, runs as fast as she is able, quickly ditching them, the threat of being skinned still ringing in her ears. She bypasses through another field, swiping another lamb and travels a different route home.

 

2. You arrive at the temple of Metztli only to see one of your closest friends stealing the sacred blue gems from the altar, a most unholy act for a Kharajyr.
How does your character react?

As Seetah enters the temple her eyes narrow at her so called friend, and such a disgraceful action; catching him in the act. Her ears stand on edge as she lets out a hiss, remaining as silent as possible in the temple. She motions with her eyes to put the stone back and bares her teeth. Seetah knows she will not get into any physical fight, especially in the great temple of Metztli; but her actions put fear on the Kha’s face and he puts down the stone, sprinting from the temple.
Seetah sighs and looks up, ears drooping sadly and pads off to look for the priest, to tell them of the dishonesty of her friend knowing that she may feel bad but it is the right thing to do. 
3. You are in the Cloud Temple when a stout, angry little dwarf begins yelling highly racist terms towards you at the top of his lungs. Although unarmed, the dwarf continues to yell after he makes eye contact with you.
How does your character react?

Seetah would look at the dwarf and sigh, shaking her head. She wouldn’t openly react as she would remain calm but she would feel fairly disappointed on the inside. She would hold her head high and move away, ignoring the foolish dwarf. She would hope that Metztli would bring his karma quickly and pads off home to the island to pray. She would then speak with her Father of the nature of Racism and why it happens frequently.

 

4. Fire has broken out over the jungle city and you can hear the screaming of two Kha’ nearby. As you go investigate, you notice that one of your friends and the Tlatlanni’s white-furred child have gotten themselves trapped in opposite ends of a burning building. The roof creaks above you, if you were to get involved, you would only have time to save one before the building collapsed.
How does your character react?

Seetah looks at the flames wide eyed with horror, her ears twitching at the sounds of screams. She makes a break inside, not taking the time to think it through and reaches for the first person she sees; the small child. She picks him up by the scruff of his neck and sprints with him outside, placing him in her arms gently when she is far enough away.
She watches the flames get higher as the face of her friend becomes visible. She goes to make a sprint to help but as she moves, the building caves inwards. She looks up to the sky and to Metztli and gives a smile for her fallen friend, envying her for being able to pass and quickly looks around for others to help her with the child and flames.
