The New Elders ((And Some Ooc Things))

The night was cold and windy, As Bili made his way through Lenfarthing with two letters in hand. He passes by the burrows of Milo and Bolo, slipping a letter under each of their doors. The next morning Milo and Bolo stepped out of their burrows and stretched their arms before looking down to find the letters wedged under their doors. The letters seemed to be carefully handwritten and could only have been written by Bili. Shortly after they read their letters, squeals of joy can be heard from their burrows. By noon that day a letter, written in black ink on a curling, yellowing hangs by the board on a nail, it reads as follows;

“Dear Great People of Lenfarthing,

    It is with my pleasure that we announce the new Elders of Lenfarthing. The new Elders will be, Milo Herbwallow as well as myself, Bolo Willowbottom. Many changes will be made some for the better and some you may have to just live with. We hope you will be pleased with these changes as we begin to reshape Lenfarthing for the better and bring more and more Hobbits here, the changes will be as follows;

1. Burrows are being cleared.  If you have not signed the list Bili left, please leave a note at your burrow within the next two Elven days.

2. Acquiring a burrow will no longer require a task.

3. A new sheriff and Innkeeper will be chosen soon, if you are interested please leave us a note.

4. More festivals will be underway as well as drinking and fishing contests, so make to bring empty stomachs and lots of stories and jokes.

5. More jobs are to be created.”

The bottom of the note is left blank for feedback and comments from other hobbits to write on.

((We’ll be clearing the perms list of inactive players, if you wish to be off the list or give up your burrow we understand and please pm one of us to have this done. Also please try to keep your characters lore friendly and try to stay in the village, non-lore following hobbits (e.g. Super Mega Warrior Halfing Gods) will be banished. Keep your hobbit odd, keep them fun, just keep them within a boundary and keep it server friendly. We hope to hear feedback and we expect more changes to be made while we look things over. In addition some ooc rules have been made, please try to read through them quickly.

1. No Griefing, this includes not replanting and killing animals without breeding.

2. Try not to steal anything of value, and if you do feel the need to steal leave proper roleplay

3. Try to keep lore friendly, and try to remember being a Hobbit is about roleplay, having friends, drinking ale, and having fun. Not items.))

((Congratulations guys! Good luck to you both but I must say I don't really like that the trials are going away. I thought they were pretty good a weeding people out but I'll go with it!))
