I am fairly new to the game, I have only been playing for a few days. From what I have seen I can not help  but feel sympathetic towards the elves, and I can not help but to resent organizations such as the Shields or the Roses. I still like my human character and how I have evolved him, but as I stand I feel that I can not really connect with either side. The elves because I am human, and the humans because they are violently racist.

It is entirely one hundred percent your decision. Should your character wish to join them, he has the ability to do so. No one will limit you in ooc

As an elf, and one of the oldest still with Malinor, we would be happy to have you. There are several humans living in Malinor, as well as forest dwarves and goblins. It is entirely up to you however.

As Ebs said, there's already a lot of racial diversity in Malinor, and most elves are friendly toward humans. So long as you don't try to kill us, you're good.

Of course! Anyone can RP for any nation, it all simply depends on how the RP goes. There's plenty of different factions and nations that all appeal to different styles of roleplay, and different subcommunities, so the restrictions are very few for most groups. Feel free to travel about and see where you find you're enjoying yourself the most! Anyhow, as this has now been responded to several times, I'm going to lock this and move it to completed.
