Treasure Hunt In Lenfarthing

The Sky Thief slithers through Lenfarthing, not for his usual ideas to steal, but for something else...

 

He quickly bangs up a note on the board...

 

"To all thy who wish for some treasure, listen up high,

My name's not important, just call me The Sky.

 

I've hidden some treasure, in this little city,

Hope you find it, although it will be a pity.

 

It's hidden well, you'll never find the prize,

Especially for someone of such little size.

 

I'll give a riddle, that will be an aid,

how kind am I? Not asking to be paid.

Hugo skips by the noticeboard, eyeing the new poster. He strokes his tiny beard and squints, speaking softly.

 

"This Sky fella thinks 'e's so clever, do 'e? Li'l do 'e know tha' I'm a pira'e 'nd treasure's me middle name! Wull, no' really... bu' I'll find i', I will!"

Salmon, a fairly new villager, notices the paper.

 

" Eyed bet me best fish it be in the squid temple we was playin' at tha otha day."

 

Salmon, chuckles, taking a swig of ale, and a bite of smoked cod.

 

"Tha' er tha un'erwa'er cove me found."

 

Salmon grins at the fact it probably wasn't there, and he had two locations that this Sky Theif didn't.

Salmon takes another bit of fish, and wobbles off, regretting the swig of ale, as he had enough of a headache from last night. (I should note he didn't read the clue.)

Squidly the Squid Lord throws ink at the poster and begins to make strange sounds as he runs toward the water back to the squemple. "Ink, vink squiflysdfle innnnnk!"
