Full Name: Jehemiah Drayke
Current Age: 28
Sub-race (if any): Northerner
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): Jeremiah Drayke had what many would call a typical life growing up on his family's farm, blissfully unaware of their mounting debt. For years he would, with his siblings and the fellow children from neighborhing farms, stage mock battles and dream of life beyond the farm. Upon turning 16, he was greeted with quite the shock as several guards showed up to take possession of the farm and evict the family for their debt. He would then proceed to work for two years to help get his family back on their collective feet. Upon turning 18, he purchased an iron longsword, and set out in the pursuit of what he claimed was, "His Destiny" as a "Paladin" of "Freedom," and that it was his duty to avenge the perceived abuse of power by those in authority who stole his farm. He would eventually seek out an elderly Knight of Oren, and proceed to train under him to become a more powerful warrior, eventually receiving an intriguing suit of armor made of both chain and plate
from the knight. In the years between then and now, he has spent the majority of his time in the wilderness, never staying in one place for long, always seeking more
opportunities to grow his repetoire of skills. To better assist those in need, he practiced constantly with his sword, assimilating a variety of defensive sword techniques into a cohesive style of swordsmanship.

 

Ambitions for the Future: Jeremiah has one and only one intention, to make those in power think twice about abusing their station to fear the threat of his coming to make amends with their blood.

Skills: He is a skilled duelist, having wielded weapons for the majority of his life. Being on the road he has had to learn to survive off the land, with the not unwelcome bonus of having learned how to cook passably well. he has also dabbled in blacksmithery a touch to maintain his armor and weapons. On his travels, he has accumulated a fair understanding of herbs. appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): Jeremiah Drayke is Six feet tall three inches, somewhat tall even for a Northerner. he shares the causcasian skin, ice blue eyes, and kempt blonde hair of his fellow kin. 1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are
guards within shouting distance - what do you do?

Answer:  Jeremiah Drayke walked in the city browsing the wares of the bazaar for anything of interest, although he had arrived late in the day for such browsing to bear much
fruit. He was examining a pouch of herbs when the dying sun caught the hint of a man in an alley. He was clad in gray and stealthfully made his way to the Emperor's palace.
Many thoughts went through his head, a burglar, an assassin? No matter, whereas the man was clearly up to no good and his chosen profession as a paladin usually meant
protecting those around him, nothing good ever can from an emperor. Or so he believed.



2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a
small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?

Answer: Jeremiah, shortly after taking upon himself the duty of an unsanctioned paladin, wandered in a deep oak forest, quite lost. Eventually he would come across a large
clearing with a modest cottage made of cobble in the middle. Supposing that he could get directions, Jeremiah headed towards it, stopping short when seeing an old man armed
with a small iron blade, attempting to scare off two rather heavily armed bandits. Seeing an opportunity prove to himself that this was his calling, he cautiously crept
forward, drawing his sword upon reaching a respectable challenging distance. The rasp of the blade alerted both of the bandits, causing them to turn around, "And who in the
blazes do you think you are!" Roared the first. "Just someone who cannot stand the strong bullying the weak." Replied the self-proclaimed paladin. This would soon lead to the
old man launching an attack of opportunity on the second bandit, burying his small blade in the hapless fool's back, severing his spinal cord and crippling him. Bandit one, a
second after his companion goes down, whirls on the man, and lands a harsh blow with a club across the arm, breaking it. Jeremiah, seeing his opportunity, charged for and
proceeded to engage in a short duel with bandit one, taking a glancing blow to his leg that would have him limp for many days, while delivering his own glancing blow to
bandit's neck, severing the carotid artery by sheer luck. Upon cessation of the fight, he would execute the pleading cripple before any more damage could be done to him or
the old man. He would then rest at the cottage for a day, tending to the old man's wound and his own.



3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is
selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices.
What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).



Answer: Given that Jeremiah had recently stumbled upon several minas in a cave whilst attempting to rescue a kidnapped child, he begins to examine the Merchant's more
expensive wares. A certain item caught his attention, a small container of pink salt. It was a rather expensive good, but pink salt was exquisite. He didn't know when an
opportunity like this would arise again. His first blow was low, too gage his knowledge of the item. An offer of 2 minas was quickly turned down and the merchant replied with
10. He wasn't shaken as he quickly came back with 4. The merchant gave in as he went down to 6. Ultimately the price came to 5 minas, a good purchase.
