A poster is placed in the road towards Salvus. An Owl awaits next to it.

 

 

 

 

 

Ransom of the one named Kaila

 

 

An elven child, taken from the gates of Salvus. She wears a blue dress and has white hair. The eyes are blue. She told her name was Kaila, and with just this I hope to quickly get the ransom for her releace. Use the bird to send the minas, and she will be releaced. If a letter is sent instead, she will be put to death, if it's minas, she will just be releaced onto the road near Salvus.

 

The fathers and mothers, or others who know of her, if you pay, I know you will chose a right amount of minas. Chose wisely, and remember:

As Ford reads the poster, he raises a hand and places it against his forehead, sliding it down his face. "Can't the damn Shields do their fuckin' job right anymore?" Ford then lets out a light chuckle. "Oh, right...What Shields? Eh, hopefully the Salvus officials will handle this, aye?"  He sighs, narrowing his eyes and then whispers to himself, "Oh, right..." Ford walks past the poster, continuing on his way with a wary visage.

He grumbles at the utter lack of cautiousness children have, and the
miserable job the officials are doing.

 

He looks to his money pouch, and sighs, hooking the lot of it onto the owl, sending it off.

Kaila walks past the spot where the poster had been. She smiles seeing it had been torn down (IG). She skips along, following Khel in hopes of him getting a speedy recovery.
