No one knows when it originated or who coined it, but it is estimated that it was used prior to the clan wars. Braduk slang was used in the orcish village of Kenuk, the first Braduk settlement in Aegis. It was the only language used there. Aegis fell, and nearly the language aswell. But the three orcs, Mokrag, Ghazkull and Gargant who lived in Kenuk held onto the language. ((Unless your character was born in the Kenuk village (only two remain) then you would have no grasp on the language untill your character A began to pick it up or B was taught. Dont expect to be 100% fluent, because part of the language is improvising by mixing the letters in the words a bit and adding a bunch of Z's and H's)) Dictionary~ Hello-Guk Goodbye-Yeb Brother-Rozthrab Cousin-Zukin Curse word-Cufng Yes-Eys No-Unz Friend-Riefn You-Oyu Your-Oyur I-Ai My-Yim Now-Uwn Understand-Nuderntaz Fight-Tihf Kill-Ilk War-Rorz Big-Gibz Teacher/trainer/mentor-Spekta (Spectre) Small-Lamzal Talk/speak/speech-Pezak Respect-Prezekt Dum-Udum Every-Evreik Even-Eden Thankyou-Hatnk Ready-Yread Control-Noclort Shaman/Magic-Mahaz Home-Mohe Sword-Dworz Axe-Aekz Mace-Caemz Hammer-Maherz Bow-Wohbz Arrow-Roawz One-Noe Two-Wot Three-Reeht Four-Rouhf Five-Eif Six-Izn Seven-Nevze Eight-Giehtn Nine-Niehn Ten-Nezt There was no contact with other races (orcs being the exception), so the words for them are the same Orc-Rochz Dwarf-Ztowt//Gazat Elf-Treeugga/Albai Human-Kwikspawn/Shara Kharajyr-Kha Political opinions: Clans Ugluk-Conquered Gorkil-Neutral Lur-Neutral Zahr-Negotiating Races Human-Hostile Andunian/Northerners-Friendly Daldriad-Friendly Elves-Neutral High elves-Hostile Dwarves-Hostile Kharajyr-Neutral Halflings-Neutral Wars of the Braduk clan The village wars-Victorious The conquest of the badlands-Victorious The Nurcrician conquest-Victorious The war of the black flag-Victorious The Golden war-Victorious The Ugluk war-Victorious Famous Braduk quotes: "We klomped, we won, skah da oddahz."~Ghazkull reporting to Mokrag after a skirmish with the Ugluks "Ya goh hahrd, ya go strait, agh ya wear deze kollahz wid PRYDE!"~Tungtor before the Braduk massacre "Nub run wen latz wid uz, YA STAHND LATZ GROUND AGH FITE!"~Mokrag to his troops during the conquest of Telarith "Bradukz fah evah fah evah Bradukz"~The clan after the Golden war "Blud rainz duwn frum ah angreh zky, mi luzk ragez un, mi luzk ragez un"~Raurna after the murder of Kahrzen
the1bow 13 Author Share Posted April 17, 2013 Crime and punishment For those who are not killed on sight, or condemned to slavery, must suffer the brutal Braduk justice system. Do not convince it with any sort of act of justice though, for you will surely not survive an elven week when put through it. That, is a promise. Judging from your offence you will be condemned to one or more of the following executions. Some are clan member specific however. Crucifixion-The standard Braduk punishment. The victim will be nailed to a cross and strung up along the cities walls until they are dead. Post death, the body will rot. When the wood rots itself, the cross will fall apart. Only then will it be dismantled. Stoning-The victim will be either tied down or have their legs broken, and the clan will proceed to then throw rocks at the victim until death. Said person will be cut into pieces and piked around the city. Hanging-The victim will be publicly hung upside down with a bag around their head. A small wound will be cut along the neck, so blood will fill the bag. The victim will drown. Hung, drawn and quartered-The victim will be hung until the brink of suffocation, in which they will be cut down. They will then be disembowelled, emasculated and then cut into quarters to be piked around the city. Decimation (clan member specific)-In the event of disobeying a commanding officer in battle, the orc(s) will be lined up. Their comrades will bare clubs, and proceed to beat the offenders to death. Uihnce (clan member specific)-If a Braduk brings grave dishonour to themselves, their family, their superiors or clan, they will be ordered to commit the act of Uihnce, which is suicide. The typical ritual will result in the orc stabbing themselves in the heart with their golok.

OtakuAnonymous 49 Share Posted May 23, 2013 I like the Clan idea, though for a friendly suggestion, you should add how the clan came to be, with the history of it and all. I like the idea, good work!

I like the idea, good work! http://the-nbo.forumotion.net/t1-braduk-village-wars A link to a brief history of the Braduk clan. This does not include all of how Braduk was formed, and most can be learnt ic.
