*Looks up from his work as a bird lands in front of him. He smiles, taking the invitation from the red bird. He reads it for a moment, then his eyes widen, his mouth drops and he leaps from his chair. He swallows, fumbling with his bandages as he pulls them loose. He leaps into a tub of cold water and screams out to his brother "Get th' soap Tybaro! I'm goin' to a wedding!"

*Angelika sits in her room, entertaining the eight month old Cecilia as a courier enters and delivers the message. She opens the letter and reads it carefully, looking to her daughter.*

 

"I s'pose we 'ave a weddin' tah attend then... right af'er th' festival. I mus' say, I am interested tah meet this family member..."

 

*The marchioness places the envelope on the table, and goes to inform her husband of the wedding.*

Evan looks through the bars at the young Shield nervously approaching his cell, having been falsely charged yet again. As the young Shield notices the cold, hard look, he stops, and begins shakily moving forwards, holding out a crisp, white note of paper. As the young man holds out the note with a shaking hand, a slightly panicked look in his eyes, Evan quickly pulls the note from the quivering fingers, and reads it over. As he reads, his face grows more and more frustrated and rage filled, and the face of the Shield falls further, and further into fear, flinching with each curse that follows after Evan has read the note. The Shield shakily walks forward, visibly hating his life as he reaches through the bars for the note "P-p-please give me the n-n-n-note s-sir. . ." his voice drifting off at the look of utter contempt on Evan's face. The Shield lets out a yelp of fear as Evan grabs his arm, jerking him forwards, pulling him tight against the bars. Evan quickly stands, and smashes the face of the Shield into a bar three times, throwing a hard punch into his unarmoured stomach, letting go of the hand, and watches with a cruel smile as the Shield stumbles back with blood streaming down his face from an open wound caused by the bars. Evan turns, and sits back down, saying with a cold tone "Tell Megan that I can't make it because of some dumb pricks, who arrest me for nothing."
