The Beast Has Been Found!

As Connor walks along the beach, he discovers a lonely grave. Curious, he approaches, reading the sign. "Murk Myre Cemetery" he says aloud, "interesting." As he investigates further, he stumbles upon a man turned to stone. "Not the worst thing I've seen today" says Connor again, and walks around some more. He sees a large yellow feather, and a huge hole opening up into the cave. He jumps down, and lands in a pool of water, and sees skulls, blood, and more stone men. He grabs a torch from the wall, surprisingly still lit. He sees three more men, warriors, all facing the same direction. As he turns the corner, he sees it. A giant beheaded cockatrice in its nest. "What the ****" mumbles Connor. He looks to the floor, and sees a pair of chicken footprints, which lead to the exit. As he follows them, he slips on some blood, hits his head on the ground, and blacks out.
