King of Cartography 546 Share Posted May 4, 2013 In Abresi harbour there floats a tiny mangled corpse, the mangled body definitly belonged to a human girl of about 9-12 years old. It has it's face cut off, stomach ripped out and a bloodied + sign marks the rest of her stomach, whomever this was, she died a horrible painful death. Upon further inspection of the corpse you might see the Lavada symbol inscribed on her dress, or the emerald hairclip that sits loosely in her hair. her other possessions include a rather fancy golden necklace with a whistle attached to it, and a rather smudged sketchbook. there's no enchanted flower to be found on this poor girls body Should you decide to read through the book you will most likely find it an uninteresting read, it mostly consists of terrible water-damaged sketches of things, only two pages prove to be fairly interesting. On Page 16 there are a few words scribbled under some step by step texture gradient processes. They read "Figured you'd like this, here you go ~Cir'dian" And on the last page there's a water damaged vague sketch of a man or thing, you can't make out who or what it is After examining these items you may, or may not, depending on if you knew her, come to the chilling conclusion that this is in fact Lillian, the flower girl. The girl that once might have sold you flowers has ceased to be, the girl that was running around salvus in search of princesses and wizards has snuffed it. The girl that once proudly called Freema's burned out alchemy shop her home has joined the choir invisible. The girl who'd bombard you with questions at the moment when it was most inconvenient has kicked the bucket. The girl who finally got out of the streets of Salvus and into Lavada mansion no longer walks on Anthos ((Well, that was a rather short-lived character. I enjoyed playing as her, and maybe i'll make another street orphan girl, because the flower selling RP was loads of fun. I hope you enjoyed Lillians presence in Anthos, because i sure did. Feel free to point out any spelling errors or grammatical whoopsie-doo's.))
Bones 180 Share Posted May 4, 2013 *Alphonz strolls along the docks, occasionally looking out over the harbor, he notices something floating, just by the edge of the docks less than twenty meters away. Out of curiosity he begins to walk closer to the floating object, as he gets closer he begins to see that it is in fact a body, his walk turns into a brisk pace and then a run. As he reaches the body he looks at it, placing a hand over his mouth at the horrible sight. He kneels down to take a closer look at the body, he sees Lillian's dress and the Lavada symbol on it. A sudden realization dawns on him, the body belongs to Lillian, he falls to his knees, tears streaming down his cheeks. Alphonz stands, shaking violently and then begins to run off in the direction of Greymarsh.*
Idiot14yearoldminecraftplayer 280 Share Posted May 4, 2013 Alistair notices the body floating in the dock, intrigued he looks to inspect it. The body has been turned over, face upwards. He looks closer, seeing the girl is wearing the same dress Lillian was last wearing, he starts to panic looking the body up and down for some sort of clue to confirm this, then he sees the whistle. Tears start to stream down his face, and he can't bear to look, turning and going back off to Salvus
Avacyn 1712 Share Posted May 4, 2013 Down, down, deep down in the dark crevices of the Abresi docks, a lone figure stands in a dimly lit attic. It stares out the rooftop window, gazing down at the people who have gathered to watch the floating corpse. After what seems like an hour of stillness, it speaks. "Oh dear. Vhat a shame. Zhe Creator vill guide her in zhe afterlife." It twiddles the enchanted rose betwixt its thumb and forefinger. The figure then places the face of the girl into a jar, retreating into the abyss of his basement.
DecoLamb 959 Share Posted May 4, 2013 Baydel grumbled as she rode along, the cloven hooves of her caribou clicking harshly on the stone as he bounded along in his characteristic hopping gait. Her brow was furrowed, amber eyes gleamed over with anger as they scanned along, eventually landing on the growing crowd. "I swear if that runt's causing another damn ruckus.." she murmurs, jerking the reins to turn the heavyset cervine towards the group. The buck grunted in annoyance, lumbering along and easily cutting through the crowd, wide antlers warding off the people like a boat through smooth water. Baydel's ear flicks, face furrowed in displeasure as she first glanced the familiar form on the ground. "I knew it, what the nether you doing out here runt?! I swear you're.. " she trailed off, the scene before her quickly sinking in. Her head shook slowly as she slid off the buck's back, quietly moving forward. She began to move quicker, shoving others aside as she moved to the body, a wail of grief and rage bursting up from her throat as she fell to her knees over the small girl. "You stupid little runt! I told you not to run off! I told you!" she wailed, carefully lifting the body and hugging it to her, uncaring of the gore seeping into the blue silk of her dress, "I told you to stay close.. Why didn't you listen to me?" Her head dipped, shoulders trembling as she bit back a sob. Gingerly she rose, cradling the adolescent form against her as she walked along, sniffling and choking back her tears best she could. "Why didn't you listen?" she murmured endlessly, repeating herself as she left the docks with the girl's body clutched to her own, "Why didn't you listen little sister...?" The Templar 195 Share Posted May 5, 2013 Jeremiah, while looking around the city after practicing his fencing in the lion keep, strolls the dock. Upon reaching the spot where Lilian has died, he would come to a full stop, an apple he was about to take a bite of dropping from his hands as his appetite leaves and gets replaced with shock. Something about the corpse catches his attention, and despite his revulsion and grief at the death of a child, he moves closer to examine it. With mounting horror, he begins praying to the Creator that it is not so, beginning to look a little green around the gills. "Creator, take this soul into your presence." Finally unable to stand the gruesome scene any further, he staggers back onto his feet, only to whirl to his knees and retch in the opposite direction. After a few minutes, Jeremiah would quickly begin making tracks away from the scene, headed to Salvus to search for the orphan girl he would always buy a rose from, refusing to believe the small voice in his head that told him that the corpse belonged to her, steadfastly believing erroneously that the child was yet alive.
