Which is why I took control of the nation in Algoda's absence and Overthrew Overseer Rasun with 50% of the populations consent, and more then 50 elven wardens as well as all of the elven royalty to back me. High Prince Native was supporting me 100% to save the newest and fifth nation of Aegis.

I'm just curious, but any chance you can tell me which 50 % of the population you had vote you into power? Was it 50 % of the residents of Kal'Alras? Or other people who don't even live there who helped you attain power?

OOC: In fairness, I've seen a lot more building work and renovation happen yesterday (literally in the 5 hours or so when I stopped being so ignorant and my internet cut out at midnight), than in the past week.

Regarding the name change, I haven't seen a thread regarding that? I only really check the Dwarven Roleplay section.

Also, Syrio, PM'ing you pictures of the smaller manor now.

Hail everyone,

i got 1 question

is Kal'alras a nation now or not,

if it is a nation shouldnt we 'ave a sub rp page fer Kal'alras members

so elves and humans can talk to about problems only in Kal'alras

But we need our own sub-forum? That way we can better organise the city and nation. Also, are we renaming Kal'Alras? If so, could Algoda or Syrio please make a poll in here, so we can all vote for a name? The faster we have a name the more likely we'll get a subforum, as I'm sure they dont want to name a subforum "Nation Name Pending Roleplay"

I was the one who added it to the wiki... And the nations name has already been decided, and it is Kingdom of Alras.

Hate to put it to you guys quite bluntly, but over the last 24 hours he's gotten people going on a lot of various jobs and constructions. He started architectural try-outs, those who can prove to be good builders will be commissioned to build various housing plots. He's helped sort out various contracts between myself, E'ashtai and the Elves.

I won't lie, we had a terrible start. Both of us were too aggressive regarding the whole Rasun situation, but given a chance, Syrio has done good things to the nation.

I'll admit, I like Rasun, he's a nice guy. He helped build the new farm and has done wondrous things to the nation in the past, I'm sure. But he apparently resigned, of his own accord.

Furthermore, Algoda stated that the role of Overseer will not exist for much longer. To this end, I encourage all citizens of Kal'Alras to put this little feud behind them and await an official report regarding the situation on our government. I would very much like to see Syrio and Rasun in positions of power which suit their activities best, and I further hope this does not conflict.

I may still be seen as "the new guy" by several, but if there is any positions in the government you require help with, or even help designing Alras' political system, then I'd be pleased to help. Syrio will back me up when I say I am a man (or rather Dwarf!) who plans. And plans. And then develops that idea. He's seen this from the multitude of images I have sent him regarding architectural designs.

Anyway, I feel I have waffled on for far too long, and I apologise for the long read. But if you need help, Algoda, I'm here.

I would just like to explain where I stand on this matter. ((For the record i was out of town (for about 36 hours) during all this and was very confused when i came back because a lot had changed.))

From my perspective it seems like there was some ulterior motive for the power shift. Many of the people on the high council of Alras were concerned that the baron tower did not fit in with the rest of the city. We wanted it changed or removed. It wasn't just the council, it was a good majority of the members of the town as well. When Syrio learned of this he was very angry. And perhaps rightfully so. But we felt justified in our vote.

The next thing i know, Rasun has been kicked out of his position, in a forceful take over. And it was forceful. You don't bring in a military leader and his entire warband if it is peaceful transfer of power. Personally this upsets and insults me. The kingdom of Alras was meant to have its members voted in democratically. We were waiting for an appropriate subforum to post more applications for positions and have voting take place.

There is a reason that alot hasn't been done recently. Government Positions are shifting, we wanted to establish a new council and then begin to start our new nation with votes on what the architecture should be and how districts should be set up. This was meant to be done as group of elected officials. Not as one power hungry individual deciding what is happening to the city.

It saddens me to see that this great city, which I personally saw Rasun put so much effort into has fallen under a dark cloud, and one of its great citizens has so much doubt cast upon him. As such I am leaving the city. My heart weeps for the city that I call home. But its not my home anymore. Its changed irreversibly in the past 2 days. I am stepping down from the position on the council. If anyone wishes to find me, I will be in Kal'Teran with many of my fellow Kal'Alrasians.

May Alras shine like a beacon against the evil of the land, and never lose its autonomy.

Your perspective is wrong sir, we had no government; we had no leader. No action was being taken to start up this newly formed nation,.... it was unorganized and ran by immaturity. It was an insult to Alras. I had to step in and do something, if you look at what I've done in the past 24 hours, it is more then what Rasun and Algoda had done in a month. Algoda is still 100% in charge, and I respect his opinion on everything, but Rasun was the destructive force hindering this nations growth and stopping it from prospering.

I will leave this Kingdom like many fellows, who helped Kal'Alras grow big, until our true King Algoa is back on the throne. I will not live in a Kingdom of tyranny under Syrio's control! Citizens of Kal'Alras, leave this city until our true King Algoda returns to his rightful throne, don't hear to Syrio's lies! There is no voted or elected council, everything he did was without any permission of the true citizens of Kal'Alras!

Don't let Kal'Alras fall into this darkness!

-Delios, High_Guardian under Algodas command!
