A Proposal To The Elders.

Felix Featherfoot sits in the Lumpy Pumpkin late at night writing a letter by the dim glow of a candle . After looking the vellum over, he signs the bottom of the page and seals it with the wax of the nearby candle. The letter reads;

Dear Elders,

I send this letter in regards of securing a burrow of my own. As you may know, a burrow by the name of Grimeburrow lays on the outside of town comfortably nestled in a hill. This burrow is seen as a eye sore on our fine community, and a fright for the children. Therefore I, Felix Featherfoot, propose a mutually beneficial agreement for both of our parties; I shall move into Grimeburrow and proceed to refurbish and clean it of the cobwebs which currently hang in it, which will better the image of the community, yet I shall also have furnished myself with a living space where I can settle down, and become a more productive and happy member of the village.

                                                                                   Thank you for your time,

                                                                                                      Felix Featherfoot.

Felix rises from his chair, waves at the innkeeper, and heads to the post office. He whistles a lilting tune as he strolls down the path.

((Didn't know it was occupied. The cobwebs and all may have given me that impression, as well as IC coversation.))
