Berraco

 

The Founding

 

There once was a baby born in the badlands, this baby's name was El'ad who's parents were refugees from the Emperor's wrath and religious persecution by his armies. His parents were klomped on his 8th birthday for smelling nicer than several orcish warriors. After El'ad grew up as a simple carpenter and did menial jobs for orc's that would tolerate his presence. Being around Orc's he grew to learn their dialect fluently, and wore their style of dress. At the age of 20 he went to the Holy Oren Empire to see the land for himself, and he only experienced persecution for following the Creator in his own way. 

 

Following the rejections of Oren and the influence it had on him, he decided to go back to his home in the desert. El'ad and several hundred followers he got when he shared his view of how the creator should be worshiped started the Archway, and temple so they could worship how they wanted too. As well as protect themselves.

Religion

Like most humans the settlers of Berraco follow the creator, but they do not believe in speakers for the creator(monks/priests are no). They believe the creator should be interpreted by everyone in their own way. They don't have churches they have a large temple and pray to the creator, whom the believe is a large Orcish-Human like creature that crawled from the womb of the desert, and defeated evil lords to claim the lands for his followers, while sending the evil  to the rest of the world. They have a single large temple planned so that followers can worship the Orcish/Human Creator Statue. 

 

Settlers

Settlers get by, by bribing local tribes and making alliances with the Orc's. Settlers do not have any access to large amounts of iron so they are usually armed with long iron spears, and bows. The 6 ft. Spears are more accepted than swords because they are easier to fight the larger stronger better armed Aggressive Orcish Clans, while they keep their distance. (Any use of Armer besides Leather for standard settlers is power gamming, as the city progresses i might lift this because trade will emerge).

Durakai stood atop the walls of the Braduk fort, Thurak by his side. The two stood staring across the sands of the Orcish badlands, their gaze interrupted by a foreign structure. "It haz ztarted Thurak, da shara iz invadin" Durakai groaned without moving, Thurak turned to him replying "Yub, habbened zooner dan mi fort" Durakai growled as he spoke again "Mi haz warned dem dub tiks, wi kan nub wait aneh longah". The two continued to look out at the blemish upon Orcish land before Durakai finally said "Breedurz gruw lyk ah weed Thurak, tu ztop dem, wi muzt remove dem befur dey kan zpread" Thurak only nodded, understanding what must be done.

 

Durakai alerted his chieftain and rallied whatever Orcs he could find to lead the attack, leaving several to man the catapults aimed at the newly founded city. The Orcs armed themselves and began their march upon the foreign invader.

Gather whatever people that would be in your city in RP and prepare them for a battle, please avoid calling for outside help before the assault as that wouldn't be very good Rp. I suppose you could get some friends if it would make sense for them to be there in RP as for calling in orcs, I don't think any of them want you there. Just don't do anything meta or powergaming, in Rp we are taking you by surprise so you aren't going to have time to gather tons of people. Next weekend will be fine.

 

Also, please avoid building the town too large over the coming week, especially when nobody is around to stop you. In Rp you would be under constant attack from all orcs that see you, invading when nobody is around is a little unfair, the point of this attack is to stop you before you spread, while your town is under construction and if through this week you are still building it just makes it more of a hassle to get rid of. I rp actually had no problems in my 5 recent orcish encounters... LOL I will just myself today if you guys wanna do it this was the point of the city, mabye you should leave small ruins?

I do not quite understand what your post was saying. I have spoken with several other clans and am under the impression that the orcs do not want this city, especially as rather than an invasion you simply build while most are elsewhere or offline and did not seek permission in rp when building on our land, I also found you "scouting land" ooc and then as another character, this whole ordeal is rather shady and is more an annoyance than enjoyable Rp. However, that being said, with this attack I am trying to get it dealt with in Rp. I simply ask that you refrain from building the city too large for now, at least until this battle has been done.

An annoyance to try and make some people come to the bad lands for a few days? The point of the city was to be destroyed... that being said how is it an annoyance? God forbid someone liven up Orcish rp and give you guys a chance to win something. I will modreq someone remove the city if you are not enjoying the rp it could have created. I spent 2 days rply building a city so you guys can raid it for fun, not so you can oocly complain. If you think i was trying to make the city to gain wealth... well your wrong...

 

Like I said "THE POINT IS NOT TO WIN". So complain about me building when your not on, I built Thursday, Friday, and Saturday for 10 hours total and had encounters with about a dozen orcs. So saying im avoiding rp is a joke. 

 

 

Can you not comprehend the ooc point I told you? I Rp'd going to Oren, comming back, but if its shady i will cease the rp... You can even ask members of any oren group if they saw a man in salvus for 4 straight days.

If you felt any hostility ooc, that was not intended. As for the that ridiculous idea of a perma kill pvp, that will not happen. Orcs do have many other Rp fights at the moment so we are not lacking Rp as people may think and you are seen as an invader in Rp and I doubt any of the orcs you have interacted with welcomed you onto our land. Now, before this becomes an ooc argument, I will simply say that we plan to follow through with the attack and you would not know about it in character, I simply sent the warning on this post so you could make sure whoever lives there with you is online so it's not totally unfair. Sorry again for any misunderstandings and please pm me from now so that we can set a good time for the fight.
