Definitions
In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!:

Role-playing: Role-playing is when you take on a role in another 'world' (game). You play as this character, and don't take on your own self. It's an interesting take on gaming, and quite fun!
Meta-gaming: Meta-gaming is when you use info from outside the game world in the game, and is generally not a good idea in RPG games because it ruins the effect.
Power-emoting: Power-emoting is when you use emotes (or commands in this case) like /kill, /say, etc., to hurt another player (/kill *Username*).

In-Character Information:
Complete the following biography on your character:
Full Name: Kristian von Craw
Current Age: 23
Sub-race (if any): Unknown
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):

Have you ever been rejected?

Have you ever been pushed away for something that is of no fault of your own? This is what Kristian has dealt with his entire life. Born in the village of Ager, he was quickly abandoned because of a hideous mutation. This mutation caused his skin to redden, his body to harden and form an outer shell. Raised by no one, he grew up begging on the streets. He was nicknamed "The Crawfish" (he later changed this to "von Craw"). By the age of 10, he was thrown out, chased by many people who thought he was a orc, demon, or worse. For years he traveled from village to village, scavenging what he could get at any time.

This continued for quite a time, until Kristian met someone new, someone he could be around. His name was Robard, nothing else was ever grabbed. Robard was a thief, a scoundrel, chased out of his village like Kristian was his. He did not mind Kristian's mutation, and he actually found it quite interesting. He taught Kristian the ways of the sword, and Kristian quickly mastered it. He named his sword Slice... simple, and not too menacing (They would never see it coming). And while Robard taught Kristian to fight, Kristian taught Robard to care. Robard did not rob after he met Kristian... they found jobs wherever they could go, trying to amass money for a life on their own. Robard and Kristian made a living for a while, begging, finding jobs, and dueling to survive. Life was perfect.

But this didn't last forever. Kristian and Robard had been on the road for about 2 years. Kristian was now 14, and had amassed quite a reputation. They were traveling in the wilds, hoping to build a house with the tools and money and materials they had gained over the years. In the forests, they traveled peacefully, sleeping under the stars. However, one day while they were walking, they were beset upon by Nomad Orcs. A whole raiding party attacked them, killing Robard, and leaving Kristian for dead. He awoke to find his sword gone, his materials and money stolen, and his whole body in pain. From that day on he swore revenge for Robard on all Orcs, and would always look for a way to kill or hurt one.

Back in the Holy Oren Empire, Kristian found his life without purpose. He decided he would try to find a way to protect his nation against foreign threats, even though he had been turned out. He needed to show the world that he was not a freak, he was in fact a hero.

Ambitions for the Future: Kristian hopes to serve the Empire in every way possible, protect the Emperor, join the guards, and defeat many Orcs. Minor goals include finding a new sword, finding a home, and maybe finding new friends.
Personality: Kristian is a man who holds morals in high esteem, and is slow to anger. He will take a while to look at the situation, trying to find the reason for a person's actions. He will always try to make friends, never hurting anyone intentionally. The only reason he will kill is if threatened himself, or if the situation involves Orcs. While not a knight, he will always be honorable.
Skills: Sword-fighting, diplomacy, and toughness from living on his own for a long while.
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): Kristian is of human stature, but his whole body is reddened and hardened from a terrible mutation. His forehead is marked in honor of Robard with white paint. His hair is black, eyes dark, and mouth tight. You can compare him to a crawfish (or crayfish, depending upon your location). post-60239-0-94643700-1370190763_thumb.p (Screenshot is in attached files if it doesn't show up here).

Any other details you wish to share about your character: Despite his appearance, Kristian is still a human... he acts human, lives with humans, and is always a human at heart.

Open-Response-Questions
Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.
____

1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?

Answer: The first thing I would do is find out what the figure is doing. Even though it looks like he is up to no good, calling attention to the guards would not help, as they would take me as the villain. I would follow the figure through the capital, and if he tries to make his way into the palace, confront him. If the figure is armed I duel him with honor, calling attention to the area as well as possibly defeating him. Using my sword, I will defeat him and bring him to justice.

2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?

Answer: There is no honor in harassing the elderly. I would go up and take in the situation, talking to the people who appear to be harassing the old man. If they are and tell me to go away, I draw my sword and attack. They would easily fall to my sword, despite being heavily armed.

3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).

Answer: My only interest would be a better sword, for without a great sword I may have trouble finding work or helping people out. Food may also be of interest. I will bring the price to the lowest I can without cheating the man out of a deal. The way this would go is I would approach the situation nicely, slowly bringing down the price with jokes and nice talk. "I'm sure you couldn't sell this... 'junk' (sarcasm) for more than 50 Minas?" I would say this all with a light tone, trying to become friends with the salesman while making the deal. I would go as low as the man would be willing to go and stop there. I would leave with my new and improved sword.

Your application has been...

DeniedApplication3V2.png

Hello! After reading through your application, I've come to a decision to deny it for the reasons listed below. Don't be let down! I'm sure you can fix the problems and get accepted.

First off, your power-emoting definition is somewhat wrong. I suggest looking on the internet for what it really is, but remember, write it in your own words, don't plagiarise.

Secondly, your biography. Whilst it was good... someone can not have red skin which has an outer shell. It is not possible. I suggest thinking of something different, but the rest of your biography, as said before, was quite good! This also adds to your skin, it's not RP-ish.

All of your Open Response Questions could use some dialogue. We want to see your full roleplaying abilities! Along with this, in your second Open Response Question you say "They would easily fall to my sword, despite being heavily armed.". I highly doubt that someone would be able to take out two heavily armed bandits.

Please re-apply in twenty four hours from this post or face instand denial. If you have any questions, feel free to pop me a PM!
