deadoorOldAccount 5 Share Posted June 5, 2013 *A page from Jex Dragorn's diary is found on the ground near a tree with roses around the roots. On the page reads: day 20: One Brave Soul-by Jex Dragorn The smoke, it rises and fills the air The people watch, they stop and stare But there is always the brave soul to go and see The broken buildings, the bodies beneath One brave soul, in a cold world The swords they clash, the armor clings Soldiers fear their death, as they look to their rings As the enemy comes, the run in fear As they know it's certain death to just stay there But there is always a brave soul as the enemy follows behind They give their life, to give more time The enemy captures this brave soul, as they let his friends go One brave soul, in a cold world Held at knife point, the women screams The guards come running down the streets The bandit smirks as he sees the guards come For he is not doing this for murder but to feed his son He asks for the minas and them to lie their swords down The women perks up as she hears a sound A rustle of minas from a guard with a frown He takes out a pouch and lies it on the ground This one brave soul gave his money to a bandit Who robs as a job, but thinks people don't understand it But this brave soul does, for he knows why the bandit does this To feed his family because he jobless But now the brave soul has lost his money His family this week will have empty tummies One brave soul, in a cold world
