Role-playing: Acting out a part you aren’t, such as an elf,orc, or other mythical creatures. Usually involves a made-up character that you ‘roleplay’ as.


 

 

 

 

Meta-gaming: Meta-gaming is when you know something that you're not supposed to know, maybe someone told you over skype or something. Say mutty the orc was going to betray Kashe the Human. One of Kashe's friends told him over skype that Mutty was going to kill Kashe. Kashe then kills mutty for no apparent reason, or at least claims that he was 'suspicious'.

 

 

 

 

 

Power-emoting: When you say something like *Kashe stabs Fark* then Fark says *Fark dodges Kashe and stabs him with a stick impaling his heart and killing Kashe instantly* Fark using a power emote, which isn't allowed because impaling someone with a stick is nearly impossible. Or such as *Kashe kills everyone in the room by saying hello*. Could be used by anyone,
such as a guard or some sort. Or just forcing an action upon somebody.

paragraphs long):

 

Kashe was born in Abresi, he lived in a small house, with not many belongings. Kashe’s father died when Kashe was only two due to the plague. Kashe’s mother raised him for eight years alone.

 

When Kashe was only  4 years of age his family lost all of their money and belongings to a thief, they were forced to live out on the streets. He suffered many sicknesses and hardships on the streets. In these hard times, Kashe's mother resorted to prostitution for the extra money. But there was one thing that changed all of these things, a young boy named Matheus.

 

It was a stormy night when Kashe was sitting on the streets, not doing anything. Just thinking, thinking about his family, and life. Then a boy about his age walked past him, the boy stared at Kashe for a few moments and not long after said curiously, “Hey, are you hungry?”

 

Kashe nodded almost immediately, the boy handed him a loaf of bread. Matheus sat down next to Kashe and started up a conversation.

 

“So what’s your name?”

 

With his mouth full of bread Kashe replied, “Kashe… Kashe
Qu.”

 

“Well Kashe Qu, it’s awfully cold tonight how about you come by my place for the night?”

 

Kashe looked up at Matheus with joyful eyes. From that day on, Kashe and Matheus were best friends.




 

 

Kashe and Matheus grew together like brothers, they did everything together. Kashe and Matheus were looking forward to one particular thing, Matheus’ birthday party. 6 months later, it was Matheus’ birthday party. Kashe and Matheus were having the time of their lives, lots of friends wereover and even some adults. Matheus’ mother told Kashe and Matheus to fetch some wine and water for the guests. When they came back everything was wrong. They walked into the door, everyone was dead. Blood was all over the place. Matheus knelt down next to his parents and began weeping. Kashe put an arm around him. Matheus then said.


 

“Kashe… lets make a promise”

 

 

 

Kashe replied “A promise…? What kind of promise?”

 

 

 

“A promise that when we meet again we will both be strong… so none of these things will ever happen, and when they do… we’ll be strong about it.

 

 

Kashe begin to slowly cry. Realizing his parents were dead as well. He walked towards them. Then replied saying,

 

“When we meet again? What do you mean when we meet again? I will always be with you.”

 

 

 

“For now, we go our separate ways” Matheus chokes, “And try our best to fulfill our promises. Besides if I have you I won’t be able to become strong.”

 

 

Kashe felt an ache in his heart. So great he couldn’t bear it, he began to weep, so loud the whole city could hear it. But finally after a few minutes of crying. He got up, and embraced Matheus, he then walked away turned back. Matheus waved back, bright red cheeks, and teary eyes. And shouted, “Farewell brother!”

 

 

 

 

 

 Kashe was impacted by this forever. He was turned into a street urchin, left on the streets to fend for himself, until one day a man came. The man quickly struck a conversation with Kashe.

 

“Hello there. You look like someone I’ve heard of”

 

Kashe looks up, and stares at the man.

 

 

 

Stopped the awkward silence the man replies with “I’m Vex Tung, I’ve been told of your story. How your parents died, and I decided to come here… to… save you.”

 

 

Kashe dropped his gaze again and stared at his hands.

 

 

 

“Why would anyone want me in their home?! I filthy street urchin?”

 

 

 

“Because Kashe, you’re a special young man. You’ve encountered one of the most challenging things in the whole world. Losing your parents at a young age. I’m here to help you heal that wound.”

 

 

 

“Well then who are you?”

 

 

 

“Vex Tung.”

 

Kashe walked away with the man. As promised they trained together, Kashe picked to train with an Ax. The training was vigorous but he knew it had to be done, after 4 years of this training Kashe had become as good as his master. At times they would go full strength at each other and neither would win. Kashe continued with training, but 3 years later Vex Tung died an early death. Kashe was only 17 and thought he would go back to living on the streets. Thankfully though, Vex left Kashe his house and fortune to Kashe. Kashe lived in the house for 1 year, he then decided it was time for an adventure… to find his best friend.

 

 

 

Ambitions for the Future: Kashe’s ambitions for the future include finding his best friend Matheus, and adventuring with him. Kashe is also very excited to test his new training on the outside world (Not in a villainous way). He also wishes to make new friends and maybe even look for that ‘someone’.

 

 

 

Personality: You could say Kashe isn’t the brightest person to be around, not having his parents around for half of his life has definitely had a large impact on him. He hasn’t learned most of life’s lessons, and isn’t the best with social skills. Although troubled in social skills he’s
great working with himself or people he has been close with for a long time.

 

 

 

Skills: Kashe is skilled with an ax, due to his training for 4 years he has become quite good at it.

Kashe stands at an average height of 6 foot 1, he has a medium build. His skin doesn’t tan very well so he isn’t very tan, his eyes are a deep light blue and the first time you see them you’ll be wowed. He wears the same leather vest, pants, and boots everyday.

Kashe is rather a strange person, he doesn’t respect your privacy, is blunt, and is just different to be around. He might be mean at first, you just need to get to know him.

1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a
dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he
is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do
you do?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Answer: I look towards the black figured man and study him
for a couple of seconds. I don’t see anything wrong with him except he looks
very suspicious. I rush to the guards to warn them.  One guard is tall and buff, the other small and
skinny. Kashe  begins to warn them.

 

Kashe: “Excuse me guards, but do you see that man in the
black?”

 

Guards: *Nods*

 

Kashe: “I believe he’s trying to assassinate the emperor, or
anyone.”

 

Guards: “Civilian, we’ll take care of this. Thank you for
the information.”

 

Although small in stature the smaller guard rushes towards
the guards faster than the taller guard. As he gets behind the black figure he
shouts in a deep voice “By the name of the Empire, you are under arrest!”

 

The black figure turns around and scowls at the guards. “And
why am I under arrest?”

 

“But your hands up, leave the questions to us!”

 

The black figure gets out a dagger and holds it in battle
stance. Just as the taller guard gets there the black figure  begins attacking the smaller guard. Just in
time the smaller guard gets his long sword out and begins parrying his swings.
Just as it appears the smaller guard is about to fail, the tall guard swings at
the black figure’s hands. The black figure is too focused in on the small guard
and doesn’t notice the hard swing, his arms are cut off. The two guards pick up
the man and take him into the palace. Kashe walks away from the scene carrying
on with his business.


 

 

 

 

 

 

2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a
large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an
unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed
bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour
and an iron ax, how do you react? (I changed it to an ax to make it fit my
roleplaying character, I hope that’s okay)

 

 

 

Kashe grabs his Ax from his back and charges the Bandits.  His boots noisily hit the gravel towards the
home and the bandits turn around.

 

 

 

“Adventurer, it’d be best if you didn’t interfere with us.
Then you wouldn’t get hurt.”

 

Ignoring the warning Kashe says, “Why are you robbing an old
man like this?”

 

“Easy money lad.”

 

“You’re not going to harm this man, you’ll have to get
through me to lay an arm on him!”

 

The two bandits turn their swords to Kashe, the both swing
at the same time towards his shoulders, Kashe barely gets out of the way in
time. While Kashe is still regaining his balance the two bandits swing at him
again, this time the bandit on the right goes first, Kashe parries his attack.
Then the other bandit swings at him, this time Kashe barely parries it. And
when he does his ax breaks.

 

“You see laddy? You shouldn’t have messed with us!”

 

Just as the bandits are about to kill Kashe, the old man
comes from behind with his small Iron Sword and slices the bandits legs.
Cutting them deep, the old man gives his sword to Kashe. Kashe  then stabs them both.

 

“Thank you for helping me lad.”

 

“No sir, thank you for helping me.”

 

Kashe then walks away without another word.

 

 

 

 

 

3. You are standing within the

mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful
stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of

general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has
no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do
you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that
happens).

 

 

 

Kashe walks over to the man’s wares and begins carefully
inspecting them. He finds a Fine Steel Ax and looks over it. He grabs it by the
hilt and swings it down. Liking the way it feels he asks the man “How much for
this fine Steel Ax?”

 

“You name it laddy.”

 

“150 Minas.”

 

“Lad! It cost me 200 Minas just to make that!” the man grabs
the ax, “I would be losin’ profit! Not earnin’ it!”

 

“But sir, I only have 150 Minas, if you want my business,
you’ll sell this to me for 150 Minas.”

 

The man doesn’t reply for a short time, he’s staring down at
the ax he’s holding.

 

“Fine… but this is the only time you’re getting a bargain
like this around here!”

 

Kashe reaches into his pocket and grabs 150 Minas, hands it
to the Man and grabs the Ax. He continues looking at the wares, he finds some
nice iron gauntlets. He then looks over at the merchant and says, “How about
200 minas for these gauntlets?”

 

“A fair price, but 250 Minas to repay me for that iron ax of
yours!”

 

“Fine, 250 Minas.”

 

“Hey! I thought you said you only had 150 Minas!”

 

“Well, I found more in my pocket.”

 

The Merchant scowls at him. Kashe hands him the Minas, and
Kashe walks away.
