-OOC Note-

This is graphicly described, and not for the faint of hearts

On the roads between Salvus and Abresi, gore spattered some of the trees and all around the ground. Bodies, mangled and distorted, lying in their own entrails, arterial red fluid slowly seeping from the various, and grizly gashes on the bodies.

Some still are partially recognizable as Lions, where their armor wasn't rent into pieces, or smashed into pieces of sheet metal. The bodies were missing chunks of flesh, limbs, some were cleaved into pieces, and scattered about.

Magnus stood around the corpses, five of them, and a sixth one, who was missing his leg, as trying in vain to crawl away. Magnus, the Dread Regent of the Dread Knights took a lumbering few steps to the fleeing Lion, raising his massive plate boot above his head, the abomination slowly pressed the boot down, pushing the head down to the gravel, applying pressure as the man screamed, the Dread Knight let out a metalic chortle, a grinding sound of metal, and smashed the head of the Lion, pulverising it.

Magnus gazed about at his work, if the creature of steel had a mortal body of flesh, bone, blood, and bile it would smile at the gruesome spectacle. Thinking how foolish the Knights were, thinking their longswords would destroy him, and their shields block his mighty flail.

"If only they had run..."

He thought this, and then shook the thought away, the lives of mortals were his playthings. Lord Dread would be pleased, and so was he. It had ben too long since he had left "brave" and "couragous" men shaking in their boots.

"Adorellan would have made a fine Dread Knight"

Another thought, he pondered this for a moment, wishing he knew where Adorellan was. Giving a metalic grind, he gathered up the metal from te armor of the dead Lions, sometimes pulling it from flesh with a wet sliding noise, or a moist pop, he gathered it all.

The only thingds left were the Banner, which Magnus had planted in the body of the leader, and some other personal identifiers.

Marching off to the Traitors Keep, Magnus had pushed further into the cause of the Dread Knights and the Traitors of the Iron Crown...
