My father served as a Scout in the army and was very agile and quick. One evening however my father didn't return from one of his evening patrols and a search party was sent out. They never returned either. To this day I have wondered if I will ever see him again but my searches have come to no avail. I have decided to take up hunting in the nearby forests and I can feel myself becoming ever more deadly with a bow everyday. On one peculiar occasion of hunting I was ambushed by a single goblin who had strayed far from it's home. It raised it's dagger and slashed across my eye before I killed it with a single shot to the cranium. My eye is horribly scarred from that event. I have still not given up the search despite people telling me he is gone but I just know that he is out there, somewhere. Answer: I would avoid confrontation as I'm not the bravest elf around. I'd be sympathetic for the child but continue onward, without immediate action. Maybe if I passed anybody by after that I would tell them about the child so that they could take action instead of me. I don't have time to stop on my journeys and confront older elves who bully children. I need to focus on my own goals and understand that they will be punished at some time later on in their lives for what they did.2.Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come across a frail old man with a walking stick. He collapsesin front of you, falling to the ground with a sharp thud.Out of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold coins, which hits the ground and splits open spreading coins across the pathway. The man lies there, defenseless - what do you do? Answer: I would help the man up and sit him against the near tree for support. Then I would treat his wounds (using what I know of healing) to the best standard I could manage and gather the coins up and return them all to him. I wouldn't steal any because he hasn't done anything to deserve it. I would then find help for him and get him to safety. Then maybe I would be rewarded for what I have done. If I'm not then I wouldn't be too disappointed because I would know that I just saved someone's life. 3.Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do? (Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the discussion involved). Answer: I would approach the merchant cautiously because I would wonder why a carriage like that would be out in the woodland. Then I would scout the inside of the carriage out with a keen eye, managing to spot all of the items and looking out for anything suspicious or dangerous. If it was relatively safe then I would accept his trading offer. I would purchase some more arrows and food for my journeys and hunting trips in the woodlands. However, if the price of these items were higher than I anticipated then I would try and haggle for the prices. Despite not being very good at haggling I'd give it my best shot and lower the price a fair bit. Not too much though because I'd be worried he'd reject my offer. I don't usually look upon haggling as being a good thing so I would only try haggling just in this situation because it is secluded from most of society and the merchant has encouraged haggling. Princeton 396 Share Posted June 16, 2013 -- - Unfortunately, I am going to have to deny this - Firstly, I would like you to expand on your definitions with an example. Secondly, your biography was short and lacked LOTC Lore. Normander was an elven settlement in Asulon, not Anthos. Also, I would like you too expand on how your father got lost (Even if your character knows.) I would avoid using "A group of Orcs attacked him." I would like you to expand upon what your character did to learn to hunt. You cannot be extremely skilled in anything without learning properly In-game. Lastly, your ORQ's lacked dialogue and detailed actions. It is most common to write in third person so you can explain exactly what is going on. Refer to an implemented application for an example. Please wait 24 hours after this post to reapply. Feel fee to PM me with any questions or concerns!
