Have you read, understood and agreed to the rules?: I have read the rules carefully, so no misstakes will be done, i believe i have understood them correctly, if i have any questions about it further on, i will not hesitate to ask someone for a clarification, i agree to them.

 

What previous experience have you had in role-playing?: Playing on lord of the craft for a year, loving the experiance and the thrill of acting as your inner self. I've always loved roleplaying since i was a child, it lets out your inner side, gives you a chance to express yourself in another you.

How did you hear about the the Lord of the Craft?: I Searched for Roleplay inspired servers and found it, i liked the looks of it, and got welcomed.

Role-playing:

Roleplaying, It grants you a chance to a whole different world, It does not have to be in the computer world, it also exists in forms as large gatherings with people who act medieval or sci-fi. You get to create your own character that you act as during the experiance. You will have your good sides and bad sides when role-playing. That leads me onto power-gaming, One can not be the almighty. There is always a side-effect from being an expert at something, So for me roleplaying is a world that one can go into, where everyone have equal powers, and you get to be the one you truly are inside.

Meta-gaming:

Meta-gaming is something that ruins alot of roleplay. The word itself stands for, that one should not use information that was gathered OOC-ly, in character. For example. On the forums i read that there will be a large war planned, the date and time is set. But its all oocly. If i would then walk there to fight for my friends, without knowing in character. That would be meta-gaming. Summary. Do not use OOC information IC.

Power-emoting:

Power-emoting, That is something that is quite hard to refrain from doing. Who does'nt want to be the strongest alive, the one that kills everyone in any fight. Power-emoting means that one can not be the almighty. Of course in a smaller way one can be that. But one will always fail sometime. Lets say you are in a RP-fight, Your fighting against two villains to defend your house and belongings. Your character is not the strongest guy, and does not have the experiance to use a sword correctly. But anyhow, You do the emote “*Dashes forward, jumping up in the air slicing both of the villains heads off.” Okey okey... That was a very harsh example, But it proves the point. Power-gaming is not only acting over your character powers. but also, you have to let your roleplay-partner defend himself, Perhaps making this emote would do much better. “*Charges forward in his armour, picking up speed slowly, He attempts to swing his sword at one of the villains shoulder.” That one gives the villain a chance to counter-attack. That is power-gaming.

Edit: Just a clarification on my situation. Since i was recently banned due to a term i was given a year ago, to make a new application to get onto the server, This is the character that i have been playing for 3 weeks of time. Bobo grew into this roleplay, so i did not choose to live by the elves, its not made up.

Biography:

Bobo Was in his early years abandoned by his parents at the gates of Leumalin. A couple of elves found him helpless and crying and decided to take care of him for a while, during his time living among the elves as an equal, he was taught how to speak the common tongue fluently, also grand history about the realm. He grew up to become a very wise halfling. At the age of 22 he was afforded his own house, he was so happy that he finally could move out and become self dependant. He decorated it so he would always be happy and feel welcome when he got home. The house only had one room, but it did good for his size and work, It was located within the walls of Leumalin.

He got great contact with the elves, they saw him as their equal, even though he was small as a chair. Due to living along wise elves all his life, he grew up to become a very intelligent halfling, Which is very uncommon among the halfling race.

As years flew by he started feeling lonley, He had the same routine every day. Wake up, eat a snack. After that he would walk out to the park in Leumalin, sit there feeding the birds for a while, perhaps even take some time to read a book. Then it was dinner and he would go to bed soon after that.

So he decided to seek for someone that he could spend his life with. He travelled to Lenfarthing as he was interested in Female Halflings. After taking a good day looking around the small town of Lenfarthing, he gave up. He dragged himself back to Leumalin, shivvering after have walked through the Witch Woods. He went to bed right after he got home, he did not have the eager to eat. Suddenly the next day when he was in his humble house cooking his breakfast snack, a very small knock could be heard from his door. It was a Tiny Halfling named Lily, She was injured and needed help immedietly, Bobo dragged her into his house and tended her wounds carefully. After that, his life changed, he realised that he had fell in love at the very first sight of Lily. They were meant for each other, that was the thought that went through Bobo atleast.

Today Lily and Bobo live happily married in Lenfarthing in Lily's Grandma's Old Burrow. Bobo did not move entirely, since he still tends his house in Leumalin a few times a month. It is his way to get away from tending his children and of course his non-stop talking wife.

The day when Lily came into his life, everything changed. Today his goal is set to make his own settlement and move their with all of his friends and famliy...

Personality:

Bobo is a very wise halfling, He is quite the charmer when it comes to women, but he keeps himself from it when Lily is around of course. He enjoys the company of the wiser elves compared to halflings. He strives to become a legend around the halflings, But that is to come.

Skills:

He is an excellent speaker when it comes to the common tongue, he was taught that during the time when he was raised by the elves. Later on he learned himself by experimenting with brews, to make fine ales. When it comes to fighting he does not prefer to take up weapons to fight and get all bloody, He is well capable of using smaller daggers and lightweight armour, but it is not commonly seen.

Bobo likes to look good, he likes to change between different coats and shirts. One thing that he will always be known for is his magestic White Beard. He is bald and wears his beard with pride, he tends it every morning, Putting in different jewelry into it. He has a cute and very friendly face, His eyebrows always pointing in a wondering way. Quite the happy old halfling. Not to be forgotten, he is quite small for being a halfling, by also being old he has his back bent slightly, making him seem shorter then he really is.

1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor's palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?

Answer:Bobo becomes very interested in what the cloaked man was doing, He runs quickly to the guards at the gate. "Oi! There's an intruder climbing the wall near the Emperors Palace!"

The guards would start running towards the palace, Bobo following close behind. Bobo sneaks up to one of the guards, poking his leg carefully to gain attention.

-Guard- whispers "Hmm?"

"What is happening?" Bobo asks with a wondering face.

-Guard- "I believe the man is being arrested for intruding on noble land."

"Hmm... could i have a closer look at the mans cloak for a second?"

-Guard- "This is not the time for that, come back later."

Bobo gets a quick glance at the cloak before the guards leads the arrested man towards the cells. He quickly scribbles down anything he can remember about the robe in a messy handstyle. He stops writing and thinks for a while. "I can use these notes to make a similar robe for myself!" realises he is talking out loud and looks around him to see if anyone heard what he said. "phew that was a close one." He thinks, before skipping his way out of Salvus.

 

2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?

Answer: He would hide behind a tree quite close to the cabin, to be able to see what was going on. "Should i interfeer or get the highguard of Leumalin here?" Bobo thinks for himself. After some minor debating in his mind, Bobo starts running towards Leumalin, Capitol of the elves, to call the guards. When Bobo arrives at the gates he quickly notices that something is wrong. After being thought that interupting is a bad thing, he would sneak around the large pack of guards surrounding The High Princess Titania and the Highguard commander. Bobo looks around the park for any citizen that might be able to keep him company while waiting for the incident to be done.

*hours later*

*Bobo's tummy growls.

"Wow! I must be getting hungry!" He bursts out jumping up into the air.

He quickly makes his way to the nearest Dining hall. "It is bloody empty! Where are the cooks!"

After alot of shouting and swearing Bobo makes a final decision to travel back to lenfarthing, He had already forgotten about the old man that needed help, "I need food!" He would shout all the way through the Witch Woods as he was scared of being alone in the dark forest...

 

3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).

Answer: He walks up to the Stand. "How ye' doin' ladde'h?" He asks in a happy tone.

-Salesman- "Im doing just fine" He says mumbling.

"Well! What do you have to trade!?" He bursts out with a giant smile on his lips.

-Salesman- "Anything you like sir, Anything."

"Very well then!" He thinks for a while before continuing. "Aye, i could use some apples, How much per?"

-Salesman- "Well, The apple's very just picked from its tree, so a couple of minas does the job."

"A couple of minas..... for one.... for one apple?!" he bursts out wrinkling his eyebrows.
-Salesman- *Frowns..

"Very well... 'ow about twu mina a piece?"

-Salesman- *Mutters for a while before smiling to Bobo "We have a deal mi'friend."

"Good, then i have twenty'fur minas, i'd like eighttiin apples. Deal or no deal?"

-Salesman- *shouts out "I thought we said two minas an apple!"

*Twists before saying "Do we have a deal?" Once more.

-Salesman- "Okey okey....." *starts packing down the apples in a basket.

*Picks up all the minas he was carrying with him and places it onto the stands desk.

"Pleasure doing bussiness." He would say, skipping out of Salvus while humming a song.
