Why Does The Application Team Member Leave?

ok, I was and still am waiting on the application forums and I see one of the members of the team they do there normal thing write under review then after awhile they put pending on it. I'm like ok that's cool What ever. And I start to notice that the application member went off to do their own business. They left the application forums. Why can't they just move on to the next person instead of the rest of the people have to wait. They can still have the pending thing just accept or deny other people's application. Not just one application member did that, but two. Why is that?

NOTE: I'm not impatient this is just a question I'm asking.

The application team can be busy and have time for there own roleplay. I mean if anyone has a question on there application they would move to answer it. I am sure they receive plenty of PM's over questions. It may just be a mistake as well as they forget to reapply if something comes up.

This is most likely so their is a variety of App team members reviewing different apps. Each member sees things differently so it is good to have different perspectives instead of one guy waving a wand over thirty apps all at once.

Along with that I am sure each member has their specialty in different racial lore so depending on what race you picked you will most likely get an app member to accompany it.

Maybe, they need to check on lore or something? I have no clue since I'm not part of the AT, but I can say with VAs sometimes I take a few hours to ask questions to people that know more about lore and whatnot, or search the forums. However, I sometimes still do other VAs in that wait time.

All staff positions on LOTC are volunteer staff positions.

Remember that this isn't their day job and they aren't paid for their time here. :) They need to play and have fun too!

I know all of this of what you guys said. I have looked what forum thread they went to one of them went to the Forum role-play thread

"avatar the last air bender"

to be exact just go here http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/forum/28-application-submissions/ to go to the application thread and see when they last posted.

And yes I know they are human

And yes I know they are volunteers and its not their day job

And if they need to look at the lore it wouldn't have taken them more than 5 hours

And  they just did one app not like five at a time

And if they were busy why did they go to off-topic -----> Role play Forums ------> avatar the last airbender

And NO! i'm not a stalker

I think I can speak for the whole AT here - We all like to enjoy free-time as well. We will get to the applications in our time. Sorry to keep you waiting, but doing multiple applications right after each other is taxing work and we have to relieve some stress.

Yet, your actions seem to define you as just that. A stalker.

An impatient/ungrateful one, at that.

Calm down, let people have their fun. That's the primary reason people joined this place, to have fun.

You're not their boss. You're not entitled to yell at them to do their 'work' faster/better...

You can, sure.. But it just makes you seem like a whiney square. Don't be a whiney square.

Nobody wants to be a whiney square. Except, well.. Someone that wants to be a whiney square.

:idk:

Problem with asking them to do 5 at a time. Apps are long. The bios are usually long...

Would you rather have your app be 1st read or 5th? By the 5th they would be more mentally fatigued than the first.
