Someone has left the pen open and all the live stock has escaped! Our current stock consists of 1 cantankerous chicken. If you see any loose livestock, please bring it to the pen! Ned Lud 1260 Share Posted July 10, 2013 Bango Blackfoot trots by the Lenfarthing noticeboard and happens to take a gander at a leaflet posted there recently. As he makes his way over for a better look, he stumbles over some hungry piglets and is nearly trampled by a herd of wayward sheep. His brow furrows as he reads the end of the message. "Sodding cookpot borrowers strike again!!" He is so enraged, that he marches home to his burrow, makes a pickled pork sandwich and has a nice lukewarm brew to wash it down with, pockets a handful of truffles for later, then abruptly shoulders his shovel and marches over towards the livestock pens in all urgency. About midway he takes a break and has a seat under a nice shade tree for about ten more minutes to enjoy a smoke before carrying on towards the pen, in all seriousness this time. Major Tom 139 Share Posted July 10, 2013 Trying to ignore Bolo's "hardships", Posco Bramble continues strolling down the main path of Lenfarthing stoppig suddenly as he sees the new poster on the notice board. After a quick glance over the parchment, Posco scowls and throws his hands up. "Well I guess i's jus' gonna be bread and taters fer us now, can't even make a proper decen' shroom stew 'ou' some mea'!" He secures them in the pen and begins feeding the chickens from a seed bag hung on his hip, whistling an old land shanty. He glances over at the cantankerous chicken, a big ole fat mean thing, glaring coldly and poised to spur. A shudder rolls down his spine and he tosses some extra grass seed thataway for good measure.
