Why do you want to play as an animal?

For new and interesting RP. And, I’m not finding my current characters RP very fun. So I feel as if trying this could give me new fun RP.

Additional Info: 
He is slightly taller than most spider monkeys, he will go anywhere for food. Spending most his time in forests/jungles and avoiding large plains of land or populated area. Spider monkeys are omnivores, so he would eat many fruits, and small creatures such as rats and mice. His long arms and strong tail aids him in climbing around swiftly, and has sharp teeth to bite in defense.
