Full Name: Ariana Witherstar
Current Age: 20
Sub-race (if any): Northern
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): Ariana was born and raised in a very poor family. From a  young age she was forced to fend for herself and her younger sister Raven. Her mother was deathly ill with the plague and soon passed away when Ariana was only 11 years old. Her father could not handle this untimely death of his beloved and soon abandoned the two girls in the filthy streets of Kingston far from home. There they wandered the streets for weeks, eating only when they were given small rations from generous citizens. Weeks turned to months and Raven's health was deteriorating from lack of nutrition, Ariana needed to find medicine fast before her dearest sister of only 9 years old withered away. She laid the small girl under a canopy that sheltered her from the rain and covered her with a ratty blanket. Ariana kissed Raven goodbye as she set off to find the only thing that will stop her pain: medicine.

It was cold, Ariana had left her only good jacket to cover Raven with. Her hair was turning to icicles and her whole body was soaking wet and sticking to her figure, she didn't have the strength to move forward. Suddenly everything turned black and....Ariana awoke under a bright light. She blinked furiously thrashing around and screaming her sister's name. The screaming was soon silenced when a tall, muscular figure slammed her hard on the head. 2 or 3 days later she was pulled out of a mysterious bed, she had no prior memory of getting here. The strangers, who she now knows as the Adunian Clan, forced her to undergo strict marksmanship training until they were confident that she was highly skilled with a bow. She was soon sent off to aid in raids of other clans. 

Years passed and Ariana still wonders about her sister Raven. Is she alive? Probably not. But that thought never leaves her head, what if? What if Raven is still out there? She refuses to give up until she finds out what happened to her sister. It is her life goal to track her down, no matter what the consequences or truth that she is not sure she is ready to hear. 
Ambitions for the Future:[/b] She wishes to find out what has become of her younger sister Raven. 
Personality:[/b] Very over protective and passionate about others she has never met. Tends to be aggressive at times but always strives to keep her calm.

[b]1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?[/b]

Answer:
Ariana notices a suspicious looking man creeping towards the emperor's palace. She quickly looks around and notices a few guards within shouting distance if there is any trouble. She does not know what this man is up to and definitely does not want to cause alarm when it is unneeded. Ariana decides to carefully sneak behind the shrouded figure, mindful not to let him discover her following him. She becomes weary of this man and concludes that she is going to confront him about his actions and intents. Upon talking to him, only then does she decide whether or not to capture the guards attention. 

[b]2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?[/b]

Answer:

Ariana eyes the men and calmly walks into hearing distance, she is hoping to overhear the confrontation between the two bandits and this elderly man. She is displeased by what she has heard and gets the bandits attention. She calmly asks the bandits why they are doing this and tries to get both sides of the story from each party. Once hearing both sides, only then does she choose either to attack the bandits or keep walking. She worries for the old man but only gives sympathy where sympathy is due. Ariana is very fair to others and only attacks when it is necessary, she does not want to make any foolish mistakes. 


[b]3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).[/b]

Answer: "Hello mister, would you happen to be selling a high quality bow?" Salesman, "Why yes! I have everything you need and more. But please mam, I would really appreciate it if you haggled a price with me." Ariana eyes the man and a small smirk trickles across her face. "Why sir! That is an amazing deal and only a fool would pass such an opportunity up! Now, I am willing to spend 50 dollars on this fine bow of yours." The salesman looks at Ariana with bewilderment, "But lady, this bow was crafted by elves, I am disgusted by your offer of 50 dollars. I'll be willing to sell it to you for 80 and I want interest since you insulted me so badly." She eyes him longer and pauses before saying, "I will pay 65 dollars, no more, no less." The salesmen, "But I need to feed me children lady, come on, have a heart." Ariana's face relaxes and she starts to feel pity for the man, "Fine, I will pay you 80 for the bow but no interest will be involved, do we have a deal?" The salesman gets excited, "It's a deal miss."
