empirerebel 305 Share Posted August 16, 2011 ((Note: People who call me Archmage are utter idiots, I am not a archmage that is only my mc name. On another note i never planned this attack, I was going to sneak in with 2 friends but then one of those friends decided to bring an army nor did i attempt to "capture" it, once the army decided to follow me i just thought to have some fun and pay the Undead back)) I was not acting on behalf of the Mages Guild but on behalf of myself personally and i have already been trialed and punished for what i did. Either way dont go on the offensive unless we have a plan we cant have idiots starting wars with the undead who already have control over most of north oren! Archmage_Cataris 622 Author Share Posted August 16, 2011 Either way dont go on the offensive unless we have a plan we cant have idiots starting wars with the undead who already have control over most of north oren! What do you mean starting wars? The Undead have been warring with Aegis for quiet a while unless your blind as a bat and deaf beyond any reconciliation. Also, Ive already been scolded by Bell i do not need to hear anymore from you.
Slayer15855 3 Share Posted August 16, 2011 What Cataris did was not sanctioned by a mage council. By progressing with this enterprise he potentially violated guild law. His actions are neither sanctioned or congratulated by the guild at present time. There will be formal trial on this matter, concerning all guild authorities, and a fair and just outcome will be arrived at. Whilst the mage guild will fight the undead invasions and attacks, we do not support direct open field battles, except in the most rare occasions. We fight an offensive defence, attacks can follow attacks, but not be initiated by a guild member. If so asked and given premission by a leading figure a mage may partake in a battle in a support role. Acrane Mage.
Khaene 1 Share Posted August 16, 2011 Scolded? Such a bold and clearly successful strike should be praised! Look at how the undead howl in response!
Garukumus 81 Share Posted August 16, 2011 That Tunnel was being built by Alstion in order to attack the keep at a later time with a much larger army. While I personally congratulate you on the attack, I am rather disappointed that it will never live up to its full potential.
Junet_Inthris 0 Share Posted August 16, 2011 The tunnel could have been found and potentially turned into a deadly trap if too much time would have passed. A brave citizen of our beloved kingdom was heroic enough to gather both real soldiers and militia to strike back at the undead plaque, and what does the ruling nobility of Oren do in such times? They scold and punish the hero which lead the battle! Most of the nobility were either plotting against each other or enjoying the luxury of their birthright, instead of doing their duty and organizing the attacks against the cursed enemy. Did any of them risk their lives on the battlefield? And about those people saying they don't want a full war, how foolish can you be? The enemy is already upon us, razing our cities and destroying the lands with their hordes! ((It was mad fun, but the battle itself was total chaos. Only very few of us were really prepared, I didn't even have armor and a bow, which led to me sitting around useless most of the time. Meh.
Archmage_Cataris 622 Author Share Posted August 16, 2011 Junet, Im afraid im no Hero. I broke the laws of the Mages Guild. Here is my formal apology to the Mages Guild though i will still be trialed: I am truly sorry for my actions at the Undead Keep, My mind was not at its best at the time from extreme fatigue and some boredom (Ive been up for over 25 hours when i did the siege) and i wish to take my actions back but unfortunately i cannot change that of which that has already happened. I have disappointed many of you and aggravated some of you and i am truly sorry, I hope to leave this in the past once the trials are done. Once again i am truly sorry for my actions and i will strive to never shame the Guild as such again. - Guildmaster Cataris
