What is roleplaying?: - When you assume the life of a character you create and pretend to live their life.

 

What’s metagaming?: -  When you Rp with knowledge that your in game character should not have.

 

What’s powergaming?: - When you Play just to be better than everyone instead of to be fun and social like the game was designed for.

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family: - Joshoran spent his entire childhood on his farm in a small village owned by the Holy Oren Kingdom. For those years, he would go out and play with his friends, mainly by practicing sword-fighting techniques. While he wasn't the brightest child around, Joshoran was certainly one of the strongest around. He was a born fighter, and didn't know a single child who could beat him... unless they outsmarted him. But he had a kind soul, and would never bully others. 

 

He lived a very peaceful lifestyle, until one day, a large group of bandits came and slaughtered his town. Both of his parents were killed, but lucky Joshoran was able outrun his pursuers and hide. Joshoran, hated himself for running away. He had never done it before, and planned to never do it again. For years afterwards, He traveled the road, training his body and mind so he would never run again. Now that he is 18, Joshoran decided he wants to become a soldier, so he no longer has to run away from his problems.

What are they like (personality)?: - Brave, headstrong, and arrogant. However, he is also very kind, but tends not to show it. He has a great sense of humor, but is not very smart. He relies on his friends to help him though puzzling situations.

What are their ambitions?: - Joshoran strives to be strong so he can stand up for himself and others.

Do they have any special skills?: - N/a

What are their weaknesses?: - Joshoran has never been a fan of magic, making it his worst nightmare. It's far to complicated for him to wrap his head around.

This is a very good start! just a couple of things and you will be on your way

1. "A Large group of bandits came and slaughtered everyone"

This is very Cliché try creating something with a little more detail

2. Add some lore and names of towns to your back story this will aid in fleshing out your character check out our wiki for names of places.

3. Flesh out weakness's reiterate the fact that he needs help for puzzles and does the lack of knowledge prevent him from following orders if he were to join a guild or army?
