I don't really have any advice to give you, but I see people saying things like, "I had to wait three apps to be accepted". They had it easy. It took me 8 apps, 2 months to be accepted. If you're more like me then just hang in there. You'll be accepted, and when you do its worth it.

you have to wait 1 week before you can apply for anything else. It gives you time to understand the server.

Also, do not just go up to people asking for magic, they will laugh in your face. Try to befriend mages in game, you may find a teacher that way, but dont feel down about it. It will take time to learn magic.

I highly suggest making RP attempts to find a monk or so, instead of approaching people directly about magic. Currently the magic users on this server are very selective and elitist in who they teach, and as such, befriending a monk in-character will allow your character to begin delving down the path of such, and hopefully after a month or two, you can inquire to any monk buddies you have about learning clerical magic.
