In short, I logged off for dinner then logged back in in the Cardinel Citadel after the orc battle. When I logged back in, my inventory was gone, I was at spawn, and I had only stone tools!!! I think there was a glitch or something because I lot quite a bit of iron gear...

This has been happening fairly frequently lately. I don't think you can get anything back unless you have a screenshot of the items. I know that sucks but sometimes you gotta roll with the punches.

Happened to me too, Gemmy said nothing can be done. I hope they fix the glitch.

I don't think your inventory can be restored if you logged on in the middle of a battle, it's just bad luck, I guess. 

Logged out after the battle was over then back in... Oh well...

The only thing that I can say is to modreq it. I'm pretty sure they can't fix it/give your items back at this time, but it's worth a shot. :/

I had this happen to me once. But I only lost a bit because I was coming back from being killed by mobs. Best to Modreq and see what that can do. Its worth a shot even if you don't get your items back.
