Warclaim On Lichisland

~~~Ambience~~~
    The might of the Wolvengard stands at arms in silent ranks, aboard the Lord Commander’s flagship, Sturmland. Rows of fighters, in black leather, chainmail and iron, are grim faced and ready, fine blades oiled and sharpened. Starke McHaryn walks slowly along the bow of the boat, peering across the waters. The faint mass of LichIsland can be seen in the dim, a dark smudge on the horizon, yet the site of it is enough to raise the blood of the Commander and his men, all eager and ready to fight, held back only by the speed of the ship. Sailors grimly hurry, working the sails. The ominous creak of ropes and timber, and the odd snap of the canvas above. The raid is one with no warning, no signs, the Wolven, fierce and brutal merely swept aboard their ship and set sail. A few mages litter their ranks, yet the soldiers have no need of the arcane, their power lies in the blades by their sides, and the heat in their hearts.
    Though they were once forced to retreat from the island, the Wolvengard have grown strong, beyond their own imaginations, and they are ready. Wolf sigils are everywhere, and from them the warriors take strength and courage. Veterans of a thousand battles, from the days of the Ildicians and beyond, Aldari, Leon, Jon stand around Starke, a hardened core of steel-clad titans, lives dedicated to the cause. The veterans are quiet, cold, but the new men of the Wolvengard are eager, bloodlust glinting in the eyes of a mighty northerner, and viciousness in the eyes of a few. Pure loyalty and ferocity glimmer throughout, and the mood for vengeance and blood is palpable. The warship is fast, and bears down unrelentingly on the island, a crew of the finest calibre prepared to guide her through the treacherous rocks. Yet they know the way, for after all, this is no conquest, but reclamation and retribution.
((OOC section))
Info: This is a surprise attack, so only people there at that RP time would be fighting. No reinforcements from defending zone due to remote location of the island.
No:
Brews
Potions
Allies,who would not RP'ly be there at the time.
Magic spam
Reinforcements (discussed above)
Should we win:
Full region owner change, and the current occupants leave the Island. We have no wish for the Lich to PK, and are happy for them to merely relocate.
Bael stands alongside the brothers of the Wolvengard. He may have not been with them when they lost the island, but he was there in the aftermath; the hatred that seethed from Starke's words had carried weight with Bael. He knew that feeling, experienced with it, knowing it, like an old foe. With a tight grip on his swords hilt, he mentally prepares for the glorious slaughter ahead.
((RPly you can't get close to the island, 4 Gavernachs would tear your boat to pieces before you even get to the razor sharp maze of rocks. There are 7ft spiders on the island when you get there, finally when you get to the cave there are 5 Lur Wolves. A warclaim is pointless because it's almost RPly impossible to kill Laurania, or even get past the island's obstacles. Also note that there are Hooks (Silverfish) too...))
((Really? None of that was there we we owned the island, not too long ago actually. Could you link me the lore for all these things please? And that related to why/how the island has them? Purely to work something out :)
Edit: Oh and as stated in the WarClaim itself, considering the Wolvengard were actually displaced from the island in the first place, the sailors know how to navigate the rocks, so thats all good.
Final edit: Considering the distance between the islands, our number of tiny assualt craft easily capable of ensuring at least a large majority of our forces get past these 'gavernachs', we should be right))
((This was discussed in the last warclaim, the lore wasn't ever canon or accepted for it. Besides we were there for 2 days (2 RP months) before it was UN-Rply taken from us because Deco didnt get what he wanted. Also, White Rose also settled there.))
  [There is no magic involved in those creatures. They are all lore friendly. Frankly the MAT have no say on what the island possesses. They only have a say on the mana-pools, which was voided.]
((Then again, could you please respond to my Lore-link requests as per my original reply? Or shall we not clutter the forums with this and you can PM me?
To all future posters, please try and keep this RP and on topic, but <3 Lago))
I have made this post in the past and I will make it again. The lich island has no special properties approved by a LM, GM or Admin. The island was only spoken about once to Urasept who, as I am told, was never told what it was to be and never approved what was on the island. This means that this island, just like any other island holds no magical properties nor is it defended by abnormally large creatures. This includes "Hooks", "Gavernachs" and these "Spiders". It is an entirely mundane and normal island.
The presence of Lur wolves does not prevent a war claim either as they are simply wolves, nothing more and nothing less. Lur wolves also have no lore— Which makes them mildy questionable. They can be killed like any other creature. Laurina herself is not an undefeatable creature either and is limited just as any other mage is.
The MAT, as you said, has no control over the creatures. Conveniently the MAT isn't the one saying the lore for this island to be armed to the teeth for no reason.
[Here's the lore, you know there's lore for Lur Wolves, and you know Arach Lodias has lore for their large spiders which they gave to Famine.
  [yes I know, Kalenz. After that I brought creatures Famine RPly possessed. It's lore approved, the MAT have no say in this, only the LM]
One has no opinion on the war claim itself. I am simply noting what is present lore-wise.
Lore does not exist for 7ft spiders which are friendly to owners. Lore does not exist for Lur Wolves, beyond the fact they are simply big wolves (You can have wolves). The existence of lore for Hooks does not mean that one has Hooks on the island, furthermore they're ET creatures only. Gavernachs are not present on the island.
One single elf can not possibly make trips back and forth from that island to feed an army of creatures which are being described. The island is not big enough to support that number of predators.
