Valterus makes a loud, exasperated breath as he begins to calm down, a large package of Cactus green at his side, he makes that same breath once more. "Oh god.." He says over and over, before sprinting the other way, back into his inn, back home. He then stops, looks the other way, and shouts to no one in particular. "WHY?!" He kicks and throws his punches into the empty air, and scowls and cries, making all the noises of a man who has given up, and he walks.

 

He walked for a long time, the man. Until he reached, well, he didn't reach anywhere to the common eye. He was in a small, secluded part of the woods near the main roads, and he was alone. The howls of wolves in the distance unsettled him, but he waited, and he waited. Soon later, two horses came forward, draped in mounts and garnish, with two tall men at their stead. "How much?" One of them said, getting off and staring at the man. "Quarter of a Stone.." Both men look to the other. "Three hundred Minas. Not a bit more more." Valterus smiles widely, and he begins to calm. He steps forward, with one hand open for the Mina, another outstretched to the men of the cactus green. 

 

They take it, and put the money in his hand, and walk away with no more words. Valterus in the opposite direction. He arrives at his inn an hour later, tired and out of breath. Mina hidden in his cloak, Hiylu looks to him with a smile. "Karin'ay-..Are you alright, my dear?" She stops forward, and frowns at his various dirt marks. He nods, and says in a poor lying tone, slightly higher than his normal. "Just watering the crops.." Hiylu makes a faint raised eyebrow, but nods. "Okay.." She says haphazardly  and they go upstairs. Lying down in bed, and falling into a lulled sleep, in his daze she hears only one utterance. "It's for my family.."
