How old are you?: - im 15 and three quarters, 16 at 02.12

 

What time-zone do you live in?: - I gotta admit, i ain't all that sure, but my ma says it's the European zero? I live in Norway :D

 

Have you ever roleplayed before - if you have, how?: - No, but ive tried at Runescape, that wasn't all that popular...

 

Have you been on any other roleplaying servers?: - No...

 

Have you applied to this server before?(Please link past applications): - No i haven't, i just had a look, read a little bit, and pretty much fell in love with the whole idea :D

 

How did you hear about us?: - I didn't, i searched for an Rp Server, and i found this...

 

What do you think the server will be like? - I think it will be cool, Medieval, Special made texture pack, Roleplay... I really want to try...

 

Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Yes i have.

 

What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: - That is the "no-shall-be-royal" part, that way, i got no snobbish Nobles looking down on me... We got someone of that already, theyre named "politikere" or Politicians.

 

Definitions

What is roleplaying?: - Role play, that is a kind of acting in game (or some cases, real life) , where you take on the role of which character youre playing. You try to talk like them do, think as they do, fight as they do (if that is the case), and act as them.

 

What’s metagaming?: - Metagaming is, i don't know how to explain it... How your strategy is? or how youre playing? The places i searched didn't go to deep into the term...

 

What’s powergaming?: - Again, i don't know how to explain it... So how i sees this, Powergaming is how you interact in a game and as wikipedia says it "tries to maximise the progress towards the goal"? I know, i know, i did a wrong there... I took something i didn't write myself, Sorry... I really ain't good at explaining words...

What race are they (and sub-race)?: - Cave Dwarf

 

What sex are they?: - Male

 

How old are they?: - 28

 

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - Lageron was born in the dwarven capital Kal'Azgoth. His Mother died giving birth to him and his Father was never found after an Mine Collapse one month after Lageron's Birth. Because no relatives could be found in the city, he was trained by a Guard as an squire from an age of five. Later, when he was 5 months from being 13 he was asked to begin mining with his fathers old Comrades. Sadly, at an age of 26, they activated an old golem which had been put into an Chasm. The Golem was of course defect and everyone but Lageron made it out alive. But to this day, Lageron has had an issue with his right leg... With most his friends dead, he decided to go into adventuring seeking death. But you only know what you had when you are in danger of losing it. So at the age of 27, he was nearly blown up by a creeper creeping up on him. Then he decided to continue adventuring, but not seeking death.

 

　

 

What are they like (personality)?: - Lageron got an creative mind and got a sense of humour, so long nobody jokes about his family. He's not of the Evil sort but then again thinks that nothing can actually be good or evil, he looks at all like an balance. But then again would never steal or rob anyone of their "welfare". He also got an tactical mind but due to short-temper and a weakness for ale, treasure and women, he can often be tricked into a action he later come to regret.

 

What are their ambitions?: - He don't actually got any ambitions, he only got his "wants", which for him is an brewery in his cellar if he ever gets an house... A wife, and a place to retire to (even tough all knows he never is going to back down from his one true love, adventuring)

 

Do they have any special skills?: - He only got his bull rush and his special way to get through the armour of an opponent and damage the enemy as he had none.

 

What are their weaknesses?: - His short temper, weakness for women, treasure, and ale... And also his damaged leg...

 

Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: -

 

Anything else you want to say about them?: - Yes, he also got a grudge when it comes to humans. And at his spare time when not training or mining, he followed a passion of his... Playing the lute and spinning tales to himself.

I really didn't want to deny this, I liked the story of your character and thought the golem thing was creative and a good use of lore. However, there are a handful of errors that need to be corrected.

 

1. Your definitions for metagaming and powergaming were incorrect.
2. You failed to provide a description of your character's appearance. 
3. "Greymane" is the last name of a Human noble family on LotC. You should probably change the name.
4. Finally:

Do they have any special skills?: - He only got his bull rush and his special way to get through the armour of an opponent and damage the enemy as he had none.

 

This "special way to get through armor" could be considered as powergaming. You should probably amend it.
