A Small Lore Addition... Aengudaemons!

Yea, even rarely do my people agree with the kebab...

On another note, the God who created the Aenguls, Daemons, worlds, and Descendant races... is he a "wind it up, and let it free" being? Is he a deistic God? Is there even any lore on this, set in stone? I know that he did interfere in the world by sending armies of angelic beings after Iblees attacked the Descendant races (as is recorded in the lore we have, the very minimal creation account called the Origins of Magic I believe), so he can't be purely deistic. If there is lore on what he deems worthy of guiding, could it be relayed here, or could I be directed to it?

The aengudaemons are real. The Creator, we don't know if he even exists or not. It might be the Brathmordakin running the show.

Paragraph 7

"One of the most potent powers of any aengudaemon is form a magical connection to their followers, allowing them followers"

Typos,      is "form" should be "from"....and allowing "them" should be "their"

Other than that I am very pleased with the lore rewrite/edit. It doesn't screw up any historical accounts that I can think of, and reinforces what we were originally trying to do with Iblees and Aerial.

Two questions, with the absence of Iblees and Aerial, Is it possible for cultist followers to find a new Aengudaemon to worship that has similar goals?

And if a group of followers had enough believe and channeled it through the void "As it is a realm of infinite possibilities" is the creation of a new Aengudaemon possible?

*Food for thought, perhaps the Creator works in a similar way to the Aengudaemon's restricted from entering the realm of the Aengudaemon in  his current form, but can interact with them via proxy....creating lesser and greater forms of Aengudaemon based on the blessing's he bestows.....the question is what is his intentions.*

Not sure what happened there. Brain typos. It's meant to read ""One of the most potent powers of any aengudaemon is the ability to form a magical connection to their followers, allowing their followers to draw upon their magical power." Can an FM please fix that?

Not IC, although they could certainly attract an aengudaemon with similar goals.

It happens to the best of us. I spend most of my day like @_@ typing up books of old....trying to retain the original authors words...but want to fix and edit sooo bad.

And here was I, thinking this:

was official lore (at least it seems to be implied by the wiki, and by the original history threads that used to be here on the forums)...

That's a story that was told by the Wandering Wizard. He was an Arch Aengul, though, so I guess he'd know. He's either making stuff up or telling the truth. We don't REALLY know.

Since he was an Aengudaemon... do we know his motives? If so, we may decipher whether truth was advantageous to him, and know if the lore is accurate or not. Probably something for IC consideration.

The Creation Story is just that, a Creation Story told by the Wandering Wizard. It may be true, a half-truth or false.

Oh, thinking about some good times, Lago, some good times :troll:

Anyhow, that is exactly what I was saying above. Your new lore has introduced an interesting twist into the question of his creation story. If he was an Aengudaemon (unclear on that) he would not act contrary to his ultimate goal. If his ultimate goal had a negative bearing on the veracity of the tale, then we must consider it subject. This caution is much-reduced if he was interested in truth. If, however, his ultimate goal had no bearing on the story, then, it seems, perhaps the truth is contained in the text. As stated above, such a quandry would be better investigated in-character.
