The Pumpkin Order

Within the dead of night, the cold winds blow through
lenfarthing. A cloaked figure places a pumpkin upon a stake, with a note that
reads….. (May I do this for more effect?)

 

“My fellow Halflings
and Hobbits, Lenfarthing has been continuously ravaged by the big-uns and the
green menace. I give onto you, the protection of the pumpkin order. Any of you
who wish to help your home stay safe, place your note within the pumpkin, and a
location of meeting will come to you by bird(pm).

 

For the safety of
your families and friends, the ones who shall join the Pumpkin order will
receive training, and shall become the protectors of lenfarthing. I will only
be known as the Pumpkin Lord (P.L for short if you want). Those who will be trained
shall protect this fine land with their lives.

 

They may live amongst
you; they may be the ones standing to the side. But they will for sure be the
ones to fight the evils that may come to lenfarthing!”
