"regarding Names"

Recommended Posts

A couple books have been passed around the city of Abresi, both copies being identical.

Those who have read the book, would see the following;

On the first page is a picture drawn in charcoal, it is of an owl perched upon the cross of The Creator. Below the picture is a signature, written neatly in ink.

"Athirius Owl IV, Lord of House Owl."

'Godanistan' is a name that I have noticed being thrown around to represent the most holy and divine one; The Creator.

This in itself is blasphemous and should be halted immediately whilst on the path to heresy.

A name is not merely an arbitrary designation, a random combination of sounds.

A name conveys the nature and essence of the thing named, it represents the history and reputation of the being named.

This should not be a strange or unfamiliar concept!

Because a name represents the reputation of the thing named, a name should be treated with the same respect as the thing's reputation.

For this reason, we have no right to give name to The Creator, as nothing in this world can represent what he truly is.

Closing the book afterwards.
