A post is nailed to each den door of the Sanctum. ”Dear resident. It’s come to our attention that over all and daily spiritual devotion is lower than desired. Many look at the spirits and see only sacrifices. If you are struggling with your own creativity or simply are dull, have no fear. The following will contain standard ritual practice for every day. This is to help other spirits than Luara gaze their eyes upon you. To know only one spirit, is to shun the rest. Many can say they have faith, so let’s put that to the test. “ Overall worship concepts: Step one 1: Early Morning: Awaken and offer thanks to Dazkur and Deltrhok. Dazkur, the Greater Immortal spirit of loyalty and protection (For keeping you safe another day.) An offering to Dazkur can be simple. The act of protecting, or in a more simple case. Deltrhok, The Greater Immortal spirit of dreams and slumber. Step 2: Early Morning: The elementals. They help make life possible, and unlike Immortal Spirits. Elementals do not require mortal praise to be. Though they still enjoy praise. Step 3: Mid Day: Immortal Spirits: There are many, many immortals. This time in the day should be used to give praise to an immortal or few. The more devote tend to do as much as they can, however, simply praising a different Immortal each day works fine. This example, will use Akezo. Step 4: Late day: Ancestors The Ancestors are a stable of Maehr Culture. From the great and mighty Krug, to the Dalmakia trio. Many have their own ancestors, and we implore you to praise your direct own during this time. Ancestral offerings range from anywhere to personal things that the spirit enjoyed in life. To valuables. Ancestral spirits follow the same rules as other spirits with offerings. Many ancestors have their own prayers. If you’re looking for offering ideas to an ancestor, read above. Any of the rituals preformed can generally be applied to other spirits. Acolyte Qudlia Jusmia

-1 Looks to much like the other water lovecraft magic that had been attempted to be passed. I do not think this offers anything new in the ways of dark magic. This Eldritch niche is already held by the Shade parasite magic. However. This seems like a perfect fit if say. Shade was removed?? I’d accept the **** out of some deep dark waters over current Shade stuff.

The wagons pulled out from the city. Guilt stung a Mali’kers heart. Making a mental note to return in time to check upon the ‘ker. May he find his peace. To her, Ailmar had been a friend in foreign lands. Apart of her wished he’d find a safer place to live a quiet, happy life. This was not the end, it never would be. May her name rest well. A small group of caravans link together. A new age started once more. Qudlia wonders what Ghorza has laid before her, and her kin. A dark elf stood within the dark chambers of the palace. He had never been around much. The young man folds his arms across his chest, narrowing his eyes. “You’ll need to leave at some point. We should head home. Take what we have left. And await our next life. Relax, and rest uncle.”

[✓] [World Lore] Moz Strimoza and the Inferi
Funky-Forum-Alt replied to The King Of The Moon's topic in General
Ah, yes. Thank you for delivering me more socially acceptable spirit sacrifices. +1 Side note, I thought they were getting their spirit ties yeeted. This is just ST lore for Inferi ye? -
A Mali’ker reads over. Taking a mental note of just the other day when she told the second in command of this monster hunting guild that they had shades down the road and he seemed to have no idea. The dark elf remembers the road to the guild. How it passes directly next to the manor. How it comes to the bend near it, along the moat. How demonic devices levitate overhead. Demons, shades. Portals, worms. She dips her head with a sigh. Speaking aloud to her kin. “Start to prepare and stock up. I get the feeling even more of Arcas is about to be set asunder.”

Some dark elves sit in a cave and laugh.

I can not wait to roll one of these babies out -
Tanaes Smov, stares at the paper a moment. Giving a shrug, she slips out of the small apartment in Asimu'lei. To take pilgrimage across Arcas
-
A Mali'ker picks up some parchment. Moving to the shore. To crumple the paper. Tossing it to the high sea. "Luara have mercy, this sounds like a cult."
-
"Voluntatem dei!" Shouts a stout short bearded man.

To the Mali’ker of the Onyx Sanctum: peace for our kind

"I also see they failed to mention the Moon Glade. Asimu'lei. Or the efforts of other clans. I wonder how these ker will take it. No matter. My kin. Surely Renelia will address not just us" -
To the Mali’ker of the Onyx Sanctum: peace for our kind
Funky-Forum-Alt replied to Zhikarta's topic in Renelian Hegemony
Daichia eyes the letter with a clear sense of weariness. Folding the paper away, Daichia glances up to the pale moonlight. Giving a shrug. Returning to their new home with not but a whistle to his steps. -
"I offer thanks to Clan Delevoye. On behalf of Clan Jusmia. But fear not we have covered every inch of Arcas. We have picked enough locations for us to move about with ease. I am sorry to inform you that the Lunar Domain is indeed not what we are looking for. We can not share the same halls with the drui, Xan, or magic ker that do nothing to learn of where their blood comes from. I wish the Lunar Domain to prosper as I always have. But we have already found our new home. We had expected to have to move due to the high elves attempt at a dark elven puppet state. And their desire to get us there. Fear not, we will thrive as the first who were blessed by Luara did. But I regret to hammer home the point of not tolerating magics that oppose the spirits and ancestors. Your concern is touching. We have been planning for this day since we stepped foot on Arcas. As our kin always have. I hope you find respite in your Lunar Domian. And I pray Luara keeps the greedy pale skins from wanting to rule your lands. May Luara guide your foot steps in her light. Daichia Jusmia"
-
"Add this to the ignore pile. We don't let in dwed anymore, no matter where we go. " Daichia comments with a frown. "And to think I was going to try and keep killing the lurkers and even offer aid to help teach how to slay them. No matter. We will seal ourselves off from the very world." He informed his kin.
-
"Indeed we shall be leaving. But do not mistake us for the white-skinned sons of Malin. We are the offspring of Valulari, returning to the pale skins that seek only to whitewash us in their skin and ways, is an option we can not take. We will thrive in our own. Taking once more to caravan. It is a shame that you believe only ruling over this land is the final option. We must ensure that the Mali'ker flourish without the influence of outsiders. To long have people used my kin for numbers. Giving them titles and land that falls away so quick. Too long have the pale skinned of Malin tried to use our kin as fodder in their wars. There will be no bloodshed, in the years to come we both will forget one another. I pray all my kin to forget this world. Those worthy enough to step through the gate of Kor and face the judgment of their ancestors. The heretics will forever walk alone or be trapped within other after lives. Prosperity to your stone keeps. And blessed is the beauty of the hidden caverns. " Signed Daichia Jusmia. A simple, Luara fearing Mali'ker.
-
Daichia tried to explain that to Dak but he did not listen it seems. We believe he just that old
-
"Don't play with the powerful fireworks apparently. I think I used too much." Daichia said, having prepared a pack for travel.

Yorterry sits beside his bed. Hands clasped together as he bows his head a moment. Giving prayer and thanks for the abundance victories of AIS.

On the Economic Reform of Haelun'or, 1740
Funky-Forum-Alt replied to reko's topic in Silver State of Haelun'or
"I can't believe the wind keeps carrying these things here." Some darkie said. Glancing over the paper. "Good for them, nonetheless." The ker wads up the paper. Returning home to throw the paper down into the under realm. "...I worry one day the pile will reach the surface of the cave. With the rate of wind blowing these in. " -
I've been on over hundreds of roleplay platforms. I've seen a lot, a lot of bad people OOC, a lot of bad RP that's mostly just a power fantasy. It's hit over a year since I joined the LOTC mark. And I've seen just the same issues with players as any other media platform may have. Not everyone here actually gives a **** about their fellow players. A lot of show care and support, but LOTC has ideally an average player base of 250 and upwards of 320 in our high peaks of activity. Compared to most any other RP platform, this has the means to be one of the nicest close-knit communities to date. Let me break down the number of people reasonably. In America, Oklahoma. My school region puts kids into classrooms of 30. The new player discord has about 520ish people. LotCs population is lower than that of most urban high schools. This means the vast majority of you grew up in an environment where you really were just 1 in 1000. My high school had a freshman population of 2,000 when I first started. 520 people equal out to about 17 classrooms of 30 people. Meaning that if everyone who played the server went to the same school, there'd be no doubt of a tight-knit group. Humans have been forming social clicks since the dawn of time. And LoTC is no stranger. When I first started LOTC, I went over to Belvits in Atlas. It was fun, I really enjoyed the aspect of the server. I might have had some humans say some racist things to my dark elf. But every time I talked to someone they were generally nice. It took me almost half a year to find people I didn't OOCLY enjoy. I was shocked at how toxic things seemed on LOTC for anyone and everyone simply for existing or upsetting someone. OOC targeting and the sort. What doesn't shock me is what happened with Pun, and those pushed forward. I do not support their actions and am glad to see that action has been taken. The Internet is a horrid horrid place. I do not think the Admins handled this well at all, I think that some of the power of being an admin has gone to their heads. And in turn, it made them distant from that which is the bulk of the player group. Something that staff has and always will struggle with no matter where they might be. You talked down to those that came forward much like the police do when someone comes in to report rape or the similar. You skipped what should have been a very human reaction to this, and held it off until the player base screamed at you. Within hours of Pun being exposed. Administrators release the most robotic on un-feeling comments I've seen. For that, you all, each and every single one, get a big **** YOU from me. But you also get my props. For rapidly trying to make up for the robotic and cold response of Flamboyant. You need to make further steps to get in touch with the players affected mentally by this. I am glad you bring up parenting, but Tythos, that is a good point. I was 16 when I had 24 year old Taylor Smith make sexual advances on me, sending nudes, asking for nudes, etc. It ended poorly, she tried to date me even. At the time, I was just excited to see **** and ass. Nearly twenty years old myself now, I am disgusted by her actions. There is a reason why America had the legal age limit at 18. It's because the brain can't handle the release of chemicals produced from sex. It fucks with developing brains, to extreme degrees. Causing severe mental issues down the line, trust issues, shell shock and worse. You don't need to tell all of us you are sorry for a poor press response to this situation. But I fully expect Flamboyant and Tythus to privately apologize to the victims from the recent string of reports. You both turned off your emotions to address a panicked and hurt player base. From one human to another, you handled this piss poorly. This is a step in the right direction. But you need to reach out to the victims personally and say you are sorry for a cold and distance stance on the matter. I understand there are legal repercussions from something like this, almost always. It's highly illegal. And the last thing we want is Microsoft flipping the switch on the server. I feel I've said what I need to say. I haven't spoken personally to Tythus or Flam, nor do I think I ever will. I'm just some bloke. But I will push for you both every day, to go PM the victims and give them a real ass human apology.
