Recently, the realm has witnessed a most unusual influx of beavers, who, in their fervor, have taken to wreaking havoc upon the walls of the Esrova. These creatures, driven by what can only be described as pure, unbridled wrath, have amassed in numbers that defy reason, causing a great disquiet amongst the residents of the Prikaz in turn.

These ferocious creatures have sought to occupy every corner of the Prikaz, and thus their numbers have grown beyond reasonable management. In light of this incessant infestation, it is imperative that the devoted soldiers of the Brotherhood render their aid in the extraction of these beleaguered beavers. May their intervention prove fruitful, and may the peace of the Prikaz be restored once more!

The Royal Courts of Hanseti-Ruska are ever-evolving and require active upkeep at all times; thus, I pen another Curation to update the denizens of the Realm on the latest affairs that have transpired within my Courts. It is my hope that the continued publications of the Queen’s Curation will prove sufficient in keeping the Haeseni informed, for I desire transparency amongst the people of the Realm.

The Queen and her Grand Lord have recently appointed an influx of talented individuals to fill the numerous vacancies residing in the Royal Courts in the years prior. It should be noted that every position upon the Queen’s Council is integral to the Courts’ established structure and function, and to leave one unfilled can wreak havoc upon the Council’s intricately woven web of inner workings. An intricate structure such as this requires competent individuals to assume their positions quickly and effectively, posthaste. 

Marian Blackwood, a former ward of the Grand Lord, possesses courtly expertise beyond her years. Although her upbringing is humble, she is well-versed in courtly affairs and knowledgeable about the structure of the Esrova Servantry that she will now preside over. Kind, intelligent, and diplomatic, there is no doubt that she will serve the Courts dutifully during her tenure.

With a heavy heart, the Queen and her Council regret to announce the passing of the former Mistress of the Pantry, Firress Fable. The woman had lived a long and fruitful life, though her departure from this earthly realm leaves a profound void in her stead. The last few years of her life were dedicated to the betterment of the Royal Courts, and her impact shan’t be forgotten, nor her final wish - a competent successor to continue her legacy.

Firr Timofei Petrovich - the Royal Family’s dedicated fisherman, is a renowned chef, politician, and spokesperson within the Realm. Under the tutelage of the former Mistress of the Pantry, he harnessed his strengths as a chef and thrived in the Palace Kitchens. Vesting her trust in him as the former Mistress of the Pantry’s chosen successor, the Queen, with the council of her Grand Lord, has appointed Firr Petrovich as the Master of the Pantry. The Courts are glad to receive his expertise and look forward to the continuation of his culinary arts.

After many years of leal service, Firr Rolim has retired from his post, thus leaving the Office of the Hunt vacant. His tenure as Master of the Hunt was remarkable, and as the presiding Hauchkhazya of his office, he paved the way for hunting etiquette and cultural evolution within the Courts. The Queen’s Council is forevermore indebted to him for his work within the Courts.

In his stead, Princess Franziska Elaine, formerly one of the Queen’s personal advisors, shall assume the post of Mistress of the Hunt. Her unfaltering dedication to the Courts and the Haeseni wilderness shall serve the Queen’s Council well in their pursuit of cultural enrichment.

My own aunt - and adoptive mother, by extension, lived and breathed the virtues of my Courts - warmth, compassion, kindness, and above all, duty. I pray she rests well in the Seven Skies, for she seemed to hardly rest in life.”

As per the wishes of the Queen and her late Curator of the Crown Jewels, the Hyspian Princess Verónica Weiss shall assume the position posthaste. Receiving tutelage from Lady Elia and serving as a personal advisor to both Queen Sofia of Hyspia and Queen Amaya of Venzia in years prior has proven her to be the best fit for this post. The Queen and her council believe Princess Verónica will undoubtedly excel in her position due to her prior years of experience within the Royal Courts.

Ser Sterling Amador long served the Royal Courts as its designated Court Astrologer, aiding both Queen Sofia and Queen Amaya in their astrological endeavors for many years. We wish to thank him for his skilled interpretations of the stars above, for they often shed light on troubling or perplexing moments in our day-to-day lives. 

Following the Ser’s recent retirement, Princess Mischa Florentina has taken up residence within the Haeseni Courts - not as an astrologer, but as an astronomer. Bearing in mind that the wider study of astronomy permits expanded horizons of celestial research, the Queen and her Grand Lord, with the council of Princess Mischa Florentina, came to the following verdict: The post of Court Astronomer shall absorb all duties associated with the retired post of Court Astrologer. 

The Court Astronomer, operating within the Office of the Abstract, shall be charged with the study of the stars, their subsequent interpretation, and more extensive research into the celestial bodies that represent the traditional folk-stories of Haeseni mythologies, of which the Princess is a scholar thereof. This expansion allows not only for the courts to revisit and remain in touch with our folkloric roots, but for the Astrologer to expand and educate the populace on the frontier of celestial science which has recently captured imaginations from the common to the royal.

The Princess Isabel of Kvenoland requires an instructor in the equestrian arts; a master of horses, or mareschal, who can be entrusted with her education and welfare. Interested applicants should write to the Grand Lord to initiate the process.

The Courts further seek the impassioned few willing to exchange the labor of hosting for the respect and glory of sitting in the center of the Haeseni social scene. Those who wish to impart influence from their familial cultures, begin a career in the courts, or simply entertain and be entertained should reach out to the Lady Chamberlain and the Grand Lord at their earliest convenience.

The Grand Lord’s proposals on Wardships shall be hereby implemented, allowing those Wards who complete their capstone tasks to be honored in a Court ceremony and receive a medallion brooch representing the culmination of their studies.

The blossoming of a new Haeseni generation oft opens the doors of opportunity, most namely wardships within the Court. A number of prominent Queen’s Councillors are still seeking wards: the Court Chamberlain, the Master of the Arts, the Court Alchemist, and the Court Astronomer. Should any of these prospects pique one’s interest, it is advised that a letter is sent to the individual the youth wishes to pursue a wardship beneath.

IT IS NOT OFTEN that I pen such a heavy-handed response; in any other circumstance, I would resort to a far more diplomatic approach in lieu of the conflict that seems to run amok within my Courts this day. The slanderous stain laid upon the Grand Lord’s name, however, is something I cannot simply neglect, and thus, I address it here.

MISTER VIRGIL KORT, a man who has strayed so far from GOD’s righteous light, now sinks to the depths of depravity as a kinslayer. Your hands are stained in the blood of your very own kinsmen, yet those claws of yours foolishly put pen to paper nonetheless; ergo, I rebuke your baseless claims. The lies you spew are nothing but the desperate cries of a tainted soul seeking to cast shadows where there are none.

HERE YOU STAND NOW at the precipice of your own undoing, your name forever tarnished by the vile deeds you have committed. Your treachery, made glaringly blatant by the poisonous lies woven and innocent blood spilled, has ignited a fire that will not be so easily smothered. s the streets of Hanseti-Ruska bustle with life, so too do the courtiers of the Esrova Prikaz in preparation for the Haeseni Lords’ festival: a highly anticipated celebration, in which each noble house of the realm shall present a merchant stall or game representative of their core cultural values. 

ll will gather in the Royal Square of Valdev on the 7th eve of Vzmey and Hyff to celebrate the flourishing cultural sphere that encompasses the realm of Hanseti-Ruska. Friends and allies of the Dual Kingdom are invited to bear witness to the northern traditions on display and further indulge in the Haeseni cuisine and games unique to each noble house of the realm.

Alongside multiple dedicated members of the Esrova Courts, we undertook an ambitious project to revitalize and renovate our beloved Esrova Prikaz – the home of the Royal Courts of Hanseti-Ruska. Each tireless step of this journey was invigorated by passion and a shared commitment to enhance the beauty and functionality of our home. This labor of love most certainly bore fruit, as the newly furnished halls of the Esrova now boast a wide variety of renovations: upgraded Servants’ quarters, an alchemical lab, meeting rooms, flourishing gardens, a brand new library, and a multitude of other miscellaneous spaces that shall serve the Courts well.

We sought to create a palace that would reflect the grandeur of our Kingdom's heritage, namely by utilizing architectural styles that mimic past Haeseni palaces of yore. Moreover, the Prikaz renovations will serve its inhabitants to the fullest extent, providing an inclusive space for any member of the Courts to reside.

It was my privilege to lead this charge, guiding our dedicated courtiers who lent their skills, their time, and their expertise to breathe new life into the Esrova. Were it not for their unending persistence and dedication, the renovations would have never seen completion. Ergo, I would like to express my gratitude to each individual who aided me.

Speaking from the standpoint of a member of the Story Team, I think you pose valid concerns regarding bad faith roleplay and metagaming. Oftentimes players will be OOCly targetted in roleplay simply due to their reputation of playing spooks, and I appreciate your effort to mitigate that. 

On the other hand - speaking from the standpoint of a community leader, I don't think it's fair to link those forum posts on a lore amendment thread that addresses metagaming and bad faith roleplay. All of these posts were written in response to legitimate investigative roleplay that has occurred over the past few weeks, and thus it would make sense to mandate testing in this case. I know you previously mentioned that you did not garner any malicious intent by including the links, but I truly feel that linking them here undermines the players that authored these posts, and can honestly be quite hurtful to those involved.

Lady Liridona Amador, renowned for her ability to coordinate grand affairs and Courtly events, shall assume the mantle of Court Chamberlain. Endowed with the ability to coordinate and oversee the inner workings of the Court’s event coordination, Lady Liridona has been entrusted to ensure that the Kingdom’s royal calendar is enriched with memorable celebrations that are executed with precision and efficiency.

Lady Klara Ludovar and Lady Sierra Coborn, praised for their exceptional aptitude in nurturing young minds, have been appointed as Governesses of the Esrova Court. Miss Sage Harleye, although newly arrived to the Kingdom, shall serve the Royal Courts as an illustrious Court Musician - a designated Scholar of the Arts within the purview of the Esrova Court’s Master of the Arts, Lord Thondorus Stafyr. Miss Harleye’s captivating musical compositions and performances shall enrich the ambiance of our Courtly events, fostering an environment that nurtures the blossoming arts within the Queen’s Court.

Lord Friedrich Ludovar and Firr Aithwin Aldor, both known for their eloquence and love of the written word, have been appointed as Royal Scribes of the Esrova Court, serving both the Queen and her designated Secretary. Their skilled penmanship and dedication to recording the kingdom's history shall ensure that the Courtly ongoings of our realm - both past and present - are effectively articulated and preserved for posterity.

ROYAL LAUZYA

The Event Collaborators, coined the Royal Lauzya by the Grand Lord, are integral to the Court’s structure and play a key role in contributing to the overall vibrancy of the Kingdom’s day-to-day atmosphere by providing planned events and outings catered to the Haeseni populace. Such a coveted position is granted to only the Queen’s most dedicated Courtiers, and thus, Her Majesty has appointed three most deserving candidates: Firr Demitrey Novikov, Firr Konstantin Novikov, and Lady Sierra Colborn, Their hospitality, creativity, and warmth shall ensure the smooth execution of Courtly affairs, including the management of events and the comfort of any guests that the Queen may host within her Court. 

THE SERVANTRY

The Servantry is the very lifeforce of the Prikaz - tasked with the upkeep of the Palace and ensuring that all aspects of normalcy are maintained on a day-to-day basis within the Royal Household and Courts alike. Of course, servants may also serve as advisors to both the Courtiers and the Royal Family, aiding them in the navigation of various social expectations with grace and poise. These individuals, entrusted by the Queen herself, have been appointed for their prudence and dependability:

❖ Firress Elena Fonseca, appointed as one of the Queen’s personal Handmaidens.

❖ Firr Konstantin Novikov, appointed as a Butler of the Esrova Court.

❖ Firress Arsie Marigold, appointed as a Maid of the Esrova Court. 

❖ Firress Lilka Svarog, appointed as a Maid of the Esrova Court.

REGARDING THE POST OF CUSTODIAN

Much to the dismay of the Queen and her assorted councilors, a betrayal most saddening was unveiled by the Holy Inquisition: the corruption of the Palace Custodian, Lady Allessandra Amador. Whilst it weighs heavily upon the hearts of the Queen’s Councilors, the Servantry are left without a figurehead, and the Courts, an integral role that is vital to the functionality of this esteemed institution. Should any individual wish to assume the mantle of this vacant post, it is encouraged that they pen the Grand Lord directly to express their interest in the position.

II. ON COURTLY WARDSHIPS

As per usual, the Courts are ever-expanding, and as the doors of opportunity open to allow the Queen’s most dedicated Courtiers to ascend within her Royal Courts, so too shall they for the youth who wish to learn and further enrich their education. The Office of the Abstract and the Office of the Wardrobe have recently publicized their respective recruitment drives, and it is expected that the other Masters and Mistresses of the Queen's Council will soon follow suit.

Moreover, it pleases the Queen and Grand Lord to announce the completion of Lord Walter Weiss and Firress Marian Blackwood’s respective wardships following the completion of their capstone achievements - the Court does look forward to their surely luminous futures. Additionally, it should also be noted that both the Queen and her Grand Lord are always seeking wards to raise up within the Courts.

III. ON THE AULIC COUNCIL

The Aulic Council, the heart of the Kingdom’s governance, is often evolving, much like the Queen’s Council is. Positions are vacated and filled to suit the needs of the Monarch, and with the aid of their councilors, they fulfill the needs of the people - a harmonious cycle that has persisted in our governance and shall continue to do so. I personally wish to extend my gratitude to our former Seneschal, Palatine, and Treasurer - Lady Josefina Barclay, Lord Otto Gant, and Ser Vanhart Barclay. Serving as the right hand to the King, Duchess Roslin Baruch has assumed the mantle of Palatine following her predecessor, Lord Otto Gant. As the Palatine and senior member of the King’s Aulic Council, Lady Roslin shall usher the King’s government into an era of continued success.

THE LORD SENESCHAL @Ramon

Following the Lady Josefina Barclay’s retirement, and subsequently, in his mother’s footsteps, Duke Manfred Barclay has been entrusted by the King with the management of the Kingdom’s properties and subsequent tax collection.

THE LORD TREASURER  @Z3r05t4r

Not to be confused with his younger counterpart, the elder Lord Thondorus Stafyr shall take up service in the Office of the Treasurer, aiding the King in all matters financial.

IV. ON THE BROTHERHOOD

The Brotherhood of Saint Karl is one of the Kingdom’s most cherished institutions, and most significantly, a major facet of Haeseni culture. It is a bastion that preaches strength, persistence, and unity: the core values that every Haeseni holds dear to their heart. Under the watchful gaze of a pale moon perched high in the Northern sky, encompassed by a tapestry of glimmering stars, the royal couple welcomed their thirdborn child - a  healthy boy, who took his first breaths on the fifteenth eve of Vzmey and Hyff. 

The luminescent moon cast its silver radiance upon the kingdom, suffusing the land with an otherworldly glow. Glittering rays of moonlight danced upon the wooden rooftops, weaving an enchanting tale of a blessing from Godan above, as though the moon itself celebrated the arrival of our beloved Prince.

Amaya lit a candle within her chambers that eve, mourning the babe's life that was lost. The Queen had not been there to witness the execution of Allessandra herself, but the news pained her all the same. The sting of betrayal from a longtime friend, and a longing for what the child could have been.
