A client once offered me $50 for an MA. I said No.
Here’s why:
Top level metaplayers and metagamers like me are playing a dangerous game. Every second there’s someone coming to steal your throne. That close interpersonal relationship or the strong bond formed through years of playing in the same communities are irrelevant if you can’t leverage them come the ban. If your network won’t post “free them” status updates, they’re not really in your network.
That’s why I said no. Giving out an MA now for free, expecting only future returns, makes sure you’re engaging in the most transactional way possible. Without price checking and a good feel for the situation, you’re never going to be able to get unbanned. That’s doubly true for status update campaigns.
It’s 2026. Start metaplaying the right way and make your circle’s game into the meta for you, not the other way around.
