  1. EVENTLINE CONTRACT [Eventline Duration:4-6 months] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDWtH8eHeEU Art by: Plastiboo THE CONTRACT You find yourself standing before a grand, oak table within a dimly lit chamber of an ancient guild hall. A sense of nervousness washes over you, the moment has come. The flickering candlelight casts dancing shadows upon the cracked and old cobblestone walls of this ancient place. A hooded figure appears before you, the guild master. They begin to unroll a parchment scroll. This is no ordinary document; it’s a contract bound by arcane seals and ancient laws, offering a pivotal opportunity that could alter the course of your fate. The contract before you outlines a mission of grave importance, undead have been plaguing the lands of Aevos, they speak of their Lord returning to the realm of man. They cause chaos and destruction in their wake, they slaughter anything in sight. The guild master eyes you intently, he tells you that a dungeon is about to rise from the earth, and the threat of an undead invasion is becoming more and more of a reality. He watches closely awaiting your decision. You can tell that signing this contract symbolizes more than just an agreement. It’s a binding oath, a commitment to the quest and to your people. Once your name is etched in blood onto the parchment, you feel a surge of magical energy—a tangible connection to the contract's power and the destiny it foretells. It is done, there is no going back. Only foward. You and those who signed this contract are now bound by honor and magik to see the mission through to its end. It is in this moment that the path before you fraught with peril but ripe with the promise of glory and treasures of legend, will begin. To enter the Dungeon means to risk everything, as you move forward into the unknown, you feel ready to face whatever fate has in store. [OOC] FILL THIS FORM OUT! THE DUNGEON As your party descends into the depths of the resurfaced tomb, an eerie silence envelops the air around you. Those with weak hearts could feel the fear slowly sinking in. The silence broken only by the occasional echo of unseen creatures. You gather around a blackstone altar where ancient runes glowing bright green are carved, faintly giving off a magical aura. The air hums with ominous energy as an apparition appears before you, a spectral figure clad with ethereal armor, materializes before you. “Adventurers, seekers of knowledge, treasurer hunters. . .” the specter intones, its voice echoing throughout the chambers, “You stand at the threshold of a trial unlike any of you have faced before.” The specter explains that each member of your party is granted three lives, symbolized by three glowing orbs that hover above your heads. These orbs of magik represent your very essence, your very being, and will flicker out one by one with each death you suffer within these walls. Should all three orbs of magik extinguish, your soul will be bound to the dungeon for eternity, and you will be lost forever. You and your party all looked at each other before nodding, the stakes are high and the challenges ahead are perilous. Will everyone you see make it out of live? Will you? Or will this be where you meet your end. You begin to feel nervous, scared, but at the same time, excitement. What treasurers or lost knowledge could be found here? Powerful artifacts of the past, mountains of gold and jewels. You could sense that some of the party felt the same. You must strategize carefully, support one another, tread with caution, for every misstep could bring you closer to your ultimate demise. Will you emerge victorious, your lives intact and the dungeon's treasures in hand? Or will you fall, one life at a time, until the dungeon claims you as its own? Only time will tell as you embark on this harrowing adventure, bound by duty and honor, bound by your greed to seek out what is hidden within this Tomb. REDLINES - This is a SOFT PK eventline - A minimum of five (5) and a max of eight (8) persona’s may enter the dungeon. - All personas involved will have three (3) lives within the dungeon. - The three (3) life rule does not apply for events outside of the dungeon. - Any deaths outside of the dungeon will be handled by the player - The Dungeon is limited to only Haense, Numendil, & Norland personas. - Upon the third death you cannot interact with any event and are SOFT PK’d for the eventline. 2. Deadmund would swing his morning-star upon the skull of a peasant deep within a forest. The paramount would pause for a moment, as it stood upon the dead peasantry. "My Lord. . ." the dark creature stated aloud, it would feel it. The death of his master, The Red-Lich. It simply would begin marching, a trail of blood would stain the ground as the stained morning-star dragged upon the ground. "They shall know your name for all eternity" "I'll see to it, that it is so."
  3. The air became heavy around the fiefdom of Garenbrig, an ominous dark storm began to hover over the fiefdom, lightning began to echo throughout the sky as those within would feel a sense of dread fall upon them. [war_horn_.mp4] As the skirmish commence, the undead would unleash bottles of necrotic potions onto the farmlands, infesting it with whatever malevolent concoction was in those bottles. 4. As night descended upon the motte of Sólgaard, an ominous lightning stormed echoed in the distance as it slowly approached. Those within the camp would feel an overwhelming sense of dread, and panic. Lightning began to strike with fury as the winds began to swirl. Tancred & Cathan were suddenly frozen as black misty tendrils began to cling onto their bodies, black smoldering smog began to gather around their bodies, dark ominous whispers began to flood their minds. [dark whispers - sound] As they were frozen in place in the physical realm, their minds were transported somewhere else, into nothingness, there they would hear a voice within the darkness, a dark an ancient voice. “I have learned much from you. Thank you, my teachers. And now for your... education.” Suddenly they felt as if the ground disappeared as they began to fall in the void. “Before there was time” the old voice croaked “before there was anything, there was nothing, and before there was nothing…” [i love adventure time] “There were monsters” [eldritch_horror.mp4] As the eldritch roar flooded their minds they could feel it, something was below them, something of pure madness. They instinctively gazed upon it and the madness began to corrupt their minds, they were falling to their deaths. Back in the physical realm, their brother-in-arms Snake and Calias attempted to help Tancred snap out of it, as they did so they would hear an ear piercing war horn. [war_horn_.mp4] Tancred and Cathan snapped out of the spell as the war horn continued to play, they could feel the ground shaking as the sound of footmen could be heard approaching. After a few moments they would see flaming arrows soaring across the night sky onto the camp, the peasants began to take cover as some screamed as arrows pierced them. The raid of Sólgaard has begun. Without a moment's to waste the warriors of Sólgaard sprung into action, some took positions within the guard tower while the rest went to fend any intruders off the walls. 5. — A UNITED FORCE — As the two kingdoms slowly begin to merge into one, unity and strength are paramount. Today, we are pleased to address our collective efforts towards forging a cohesive and unified military force, a cornerstone of our national security and a testament to our shared commitment between both kingdoms to protect our land and people. In recent years, almost spanning a decade, the Crown and the military command of this confederation have been planning the standardization of protocols in which we strive to achieve better coordination and cohesiveness between the military branches. The claimed lands of Drusco shall be converted into a military compound where the newly established Order of St. Peter and the Legion of St. Godwin shall be jointly based out of. The unification of our various military organizations only serves to strengthen our nation, we enhance our capability to respond to threats, support our allies and uphold peace within our borders and beyond. This endeavor is guided by several key principles: Strength: We recognize the unique strengths and skills of the Order of St. Peter and The Legion of St. Godwin. Through training and joint operations, we aim to leverage these strengths, ensuring that every military member complements one another, creating a robust and versatile force. Standardization: Establishing standardized patrols, protocols, and training across all military branches will not only streamline operations but also elevate our overall efficiency and effectiveness to counteract any internal and external threats. For the two military branches to work together, they must train together, fight together, and learn together. Communication and Coordination: Effective communication is the backbone of any successful military operation. We are implementing advanced communication systems (bells), and protocols to ensure seamless coordination across all levels of command, fostering a culture of transparency and swift decision-making Unified Leadership and Vision: Strong, unified leadership is essential to guide our military through the complexities of warfare. The Knight Commander and The Lord Marshal stand together to ensure that the next generation of military leadership is prepared to take the mantle when the time comes. As we move forward, the unification of our military forces will not only bolster our defense capabilities but also symbolize our nation’s unity and resolve. It is through this collective strength that we will continue to safeguard our sovereignty, contribute to the peace and stability within the realm of man, and inspire confidence among our citizens. 25. THE ONE WHO STAYED ☩ ☩ ☩ Sigismund ‘The Mad’ in his final moments as he faced the Veletzian Horde 19th of Sigismund’s End In the year of our Lord, 1957 It was another day like any other in the CommonWealth. Sunny, and slightly cloudy, it was calm. Sigismund was performing his daily rounds as he marched through each street. Everything seemed normal until he heard the distinct sound of marching, then followed the yells of orders outside the walls. His heart began to beat faster as adrenaline seeped into his body. Sigismund instantly understood what possibly was outside and what was to happen afterwards, he fought many battles before and could smell a slaughter from a mile away. He turned towards the square to see the petran citizens unaware of what was to come. The sound of ladders confirmed his suspicion, keeping cool he began to run towards the square to alert the citizens of Petra. “GET TO THE TUNNELS! THIS IS NOT A DRILL, INTRUDERS ARE SCALING THE WALL!”. As he repeated the yell, the citizens began to frantically disperse, some overcome with fear had to be guided quickly to escape tunnels. Few moments passed as Sigismund looked around, seeing the once populated square empty. He sighed in relief for a moment before dawning a serious face. He knew what came next. He was grateful that no one else but him was to be killed. As he prepared himself by the square he could see the first of the Veletzian army. “Halt! Surrender and face justice!” yelled Sergeant Jamukha ( @Sixbyte). Sigismund grinned. It was time to fulfill his duty as a soldier. Sigismund bent his knees as he began to bang his mace onto his shield. “I ain’t surrendering! I shall die fighting!”. Moments later the flood of Veletzian soldiers followed, surrounding him. “We respect thy courage" Jurkha ( @LordofCabbage) stated as he prepared to fight the lone warrior. "Flank him.” Jamukha stated to his soldiers. Sigismund frothed at the mouth as he began to yell in his waldenian tongue before beginning his last fight “سأهتدي بنوره وأهزم أعداءنا. باسمه المجيد. آمين” The final fight of Sigismund only lasted a minute as he fell backwards onto the wall sliding down leaving it stained with blood. Sergeant Jamukha would shake his head, disgruntled as the loyal guardsman resolved himself to death. He would make a sudden movement with his right arm, driving his blade into the mans now unarmored throat, wishing to end his life quickly. Sergeant Jamukha gives mercy to the only Petran who stayed to defend his homeland - attempting a fight with eight men with no a glimpse of cowardice in his being. “I pray that GOD accepts you well. The one who stayed.” Sigismund eyed Sergeant Jamukhha as he laid their limp upon the wall, blood splattered his entire body. He only stared at the Sergeant as the life in his eyes began to fade, his grip upon its sword would loosen, his eyes rolled backwards as he began to close its eyes. Sigismund von Theonus has fallen. May he rest in the seven skies. 1908-1957 ☩ ☩ ☩ [OOC] A thank you to the Veletzian Rally, great folks about the whole thing, and provided awesome roleplay for me to properly end my character. GG!
