ISSUED BY:
THE COURTS OF EALA
ON:
6th of Sigismund’s End, 1968 I.T
With the end of the siege of the necromantic fort, the mountains of Brabant are secure. However, for this, a great many individuals lost their lives in this battle. In particular, Alder Whitewood, the youngest son of the Duke, gave his life to take the keep.
To celebrate this victory, and commemorate the death of Alder Whitewood, The Courts of Eala will host a dance in the name of St. Carolus, Patron of Selfless Service, Protection of Children and Sacrifice for One’s Family.
OPENING PRAYER
To Dance will open with a prayer to St. Carolus and a prayer to the souls who lost their lives in the crusade against the undead thus far.
DANCE
To celebrate the virtues of St. Carolus, a Cèilidh, or traditional dance, will be held around a bonfire. With groups dancing in unison around it until the bonfire is burnt out, a metaphorical symbol of the selfless sacrifice of many soldiers, to bring peace and happiness to others.
RAVEN AUGURY
To predict our fortunes, an Augury upon a Black Raven, the symbol of St. Carolus will be performed.
Signed,
His Grace, Ser Sterling Blaxton-Whitewood,
Duke of Brabant, Marquis of Lotusgrad, Baron of Blackwell, Lilenburg and Swan’s Keep, Lord of the Peaks, Protector of the Weefolk.
Her Grace, Azalea Whitewood
