  1. Arthur had been in the middle of forging some new Arcanium using a strangely magical looking hammer. He read the missive handed to him by a friend, gaze flickering from the paper to the hammer for a few moments. "Nah, just a coincidence, surely."
  2. "Am I unbanished yet?" Arthur wrote in to every figure of authority he could find within Hohkmat.
  3. "ME MENTIONED?!" Arthur yelled in happiness. Though, upon looking. . "Oh, a boring misconception. Unbelievable."
  4. A construct. . wherever he was. . thought back fondly.
  5. A Xionist Voidal mage realized he picked the right religion.

  8. "What a journey. . ." he spoke out. "A skilled liar, you were. It is a shame you put your intelligence to poor use. . as so many do, these days. I hope you find your peace, Sermi." spoke the mage off of the edge of his tower, as the wind blew his cloak behind him.
  9. Arthur was wandering into Kaethul after a journey to his home in the North. Kaethul- his safe space, one might call it. The scream. He quickly had ran over to a shop- where a few citizens were engaged in combat with a Darkstalker. One all to familiar to Arthur. For but a moment, it looked past all of those who slammed their weapons into it. "The Murkwater Company demands your cooperation, Arthur." For a moment, a flash of consideration. But- this was nothing more than the work of the horror, of course. Whispers in the back of his head, why, he'd never stoop as low as them. All that this demand had served to do was, well. The connection was established. Those violet and aqua embers did flow from Arthur's shoulders, his staff gripped in hand, and his steel hound by his side. It was almost a routine for him at this point- tapped into his mind, an instinct. The Void began to leak from him in the form of fire. The smell of burning flesh. Everyone else had fled to safety, and Arthur alongside his voidal connection and his steel hound thought himself invincible once more. He stood above the darkstalker, a torrent of flame flying down upon him. A flamethower. A spell he used quite often- and once he had gotten to this point, well, there was nobody questioning his victory. This time, however, it was different. The darkstalker rose, and the steel hound found itself flipping on it's back. The darkstalker continued to rise, until it was standing back at full height. The flamethrower ended, and Arthur bolted for the door, realizing he was, for once, not a god. His flames would do him no good here. The new darkness. As he lie, a digitalized sniff echoed ahead of him. He fluttered his eye open, bringing a hand up to his neck, where a hand-shaped-mark had lie. But then it struck him- there was no light to be seen, not from either of his eyes, in fact. He sighed- a voice in his head belittled him, made fun of him. How poor and defenseless he was, how much pity he deserved. It knew exactly how to get to him, and it did not let up. He forced himself home, to a home in the north, where he'd not be a burden to his family. He'd find no comfort here, no. He'd find only forced begs- He continued to try and force himself a voidal connection- through screams of agony as the void cracked at his body in his wretched attempts at connection. Until he shut his eye to sleep, this was what he did, though no connection came, not yet.
