Since they were children, Elenydd had been someone dear to Matyas -- his very first friend. As they'd grown, the idolization he held toward her had only climbed. Time and time again, she proved how golden her heart was and the unwavering perseverance she forever carried in the face of danger. To see her rise not only as a knight but as a future leader was most befitting for someone of her caliber, and he couldn't be any prouder. -

Matyas had been watching the sunset from his balcony, a quill in one hand, and papers in the other. To his dismay, Vasiliya had barged into his room to tell him of the news. Perhaps it would be a welcome change if he prepared sufficiently. He only hoped his social interactions would remain at a minimum, even if this made for good experience -- a shell yet to be broken.

The cigar he had held tumbled from Vaz'rik's hand, his grin blooming wide when he learned of the wedding. His very own name spun into a personal invitation he couldn’t possibly be happier for! All other events, whether he knew of them or not, became obsolete. With delighted steps, he began rummaging through his home in search of a gift worthy of such a marvelous occasion.

Despite having no experience with such a thing, Vaz'rik was nevertheless thrilled about the festivities on the horizon. "A splendid ordeal, so it seems! Oh, I will certainly need to pen Dhymli, she is bound to enjoy it. Perhaps another, too . . ." Thus, he went off to find the necessary parchment!
