  1. The more sickly Seraph had been resting when it all happened. He had ambled out to the streets right as the Haeseni people were given the news, and felt that something was amiss. He followed the solemn whispers of both people and fauna, the winds seeming to carry grief. He then saw the corpse of his queen, cradled by his dearest weeping friend. The people gathered to say goodbye. His husband kneeled in trembling silence, as did his daughter. "Seraph - of course you're needed. You are not so easily replaced." A line said by her majesty, cementing the belonging that a farfolk like him had yet to experience any where else in his travels. He had been given opportunity, a way of life in Haense - and better yet found his soulmate and a little miracle. He found deep friendships, ones that he knew he could rely on when life got difficult. She gave him a chance, one of the only people who ever would. And now she's gone. He was lost more than ever. He hadn't been this lost since his own parents passing. He couldn't bare to see his loved ones in pain. He broke, and after an argument with his paramour for the first time in a long time - he did the only thing he knew how to do. He ran, far past the gates of Haense and into the woods. He would be back to return to his duties, but for now the nomad went back to his roots as he tries to navigate his new life without a mentor. He will try. (OOC : Sarah I am genuinely so happy to have met you and a lot of other awesome people in Haense. I was new to LOTC and unsure but you made the time way less anxious :) Love you girlie good luck in school! WOMEN IN STEM WOOO!! <33)
  2. Within the now quieter halls of the palace, Seraph would continue to work hard to keep everything tidy for the queen in her time of need. Perhaps this was a way to distract himself, as after her visitors would come - he would step in to aid her dearest handmaiden and other dear butler. They have been the main three for more than a decade after all. Watching his beloved queen who so willingly opened an opportunity for him in Haense all those years ago... it is almost too much to handle. He would have to step out at times, going back to quietly keeping the place dust-less as the servant's hand's shook.
  3. "Deia dear, what is the matter?" The tired servant had asked of his dearest incoherent friend. His eyes would widen at the missive, not helping but a beam across the man's face. "So I see, then there should be a wedding soon after all!" @ivery @Koodini
  4. Francseszka would give a blink at the missive, however not being able to help herself from having a laugh at the thought of this happening for her friend! It was just then that she realized the death occurring, a frown quick to come upon her features. "Oh dear... I should send flowers to the grieving family."
  5. "What a beautiful work of art this is..." The silvered haired man would gasp, seeming to get caught up in the middle of his servantry work as he was reading. His duties lie dormant for now, as he scans every line with intention on finding any sort of hidden meaning - a game for the usually busy man! That was until a prompt signal from his yellowed-hair fellow servant came along to get him back to work. "Cedomir - Deia! Have you seen this? It's wonderful!" He would rally all of the servantry in for a small break, enjoying the arts at the start of the era of peace. (OOC: LILY I AM SO PROUD OF YOU GIRLIE. Keep up with this writing and when you're a famous author one day don't forget to send a text once in a while <3)
  6. "Oh how wonderful! I'm glad the two were able to pick a date." The young woman hums with a bright smile, quickly going downstairs to look for gifts! And to make sure the rest of her family saw the invitation.
  7. Francseszka would seclude herself in her room. All that could be heard was the quiet squeaks of the floorboards and the woeful wails of her grandmother. She could do nothing but stare out the window, rubbing the ring that had been left to her by her beloved aunt. Tears wouldn't even dare to sting her eyes in the state she was in, replaying the moment she found what remained of her aunt out in the forest. The memory of not being able to hear her ear piercing scream and wails - as her uncle came to shield her once innocent eyes. The slow and warped walk back to the town to lay her aunt to rest. Everything replays in a loop behind the Korvacz's eyes. All she prays now is that her aunt is with her loved ones she had lost, and that she is finally at peace from her mind. She still bakes those muffins, leaving one for Xenia.

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) "Me... how do you know me?" She snaps, before giving a light sigh and sitting as the hag instructed her to. Besides, this could be interesting, even if she thinks this with a sour expression plastered across her face. "There isn't much to tell... I come from the Korvacz family. The settlement of March of Lecho-Raev..." She drawls on, making a circling movement with her left hand. Somehow, this conversation seems boring to her. "I have my mother, my father and all the lovely siblings. Any more information you want out of me comes with a price first." She scoffs, even a little towards herself. Her mother would scold her for such attitude.
