Some of the responses in the "Put a Stop to Gender Bending" were rather dissapointing... the OP was not flaming or trolling outright.. and yet some of those responses to him were..

The the original post was presented in a flaming matter the responding parties can respond maturely and not fall to the level of flaming. That is not OP's fault, that is the responders themselves. If they can't respond maturely and not contribute to any trolling or flaming, then they should respond at all.
If the thread has to be locked due to flaming or trolling, something didn't go maturely.

When you say your opinion on the internet, you /HAVE/ to do it in a respective way, less it degrades into a flame-fest. The OP literally sets the mood and emotions for the rest of the thread, a subconscious instant response to the tone and theme of the original post. Just like how someone would start a simple conversation.
