He stops as his eyes reach Torrhen, a slight flicker of indiscernible emotion flashes through them. Alasdair then turns to Godfrey and bows his head for a moment before beginning to speak. "I am Alasdair of Clan Caellach, Thane to the True Heir of the Adunia, and I for one do no' follow the 'wisdom' of a rock. With tha' said, in the absence of my brother Alain I cast the full support of Clan Caellach behind Harrion." With that he lowers himself back into his seat, folding his arms across his chest.

Many people, including orcs, have made the decision to just avoid the temporary map until 2.5/3.0. There are also a fair number of people concentrating their efforts solely on the building of 3.0. That made my night... :D

I actually agree with that, it really doesn't hurt and it can even be a helpful reminder to the villain. I did it on my Minor VA and it took me all of an extra fifteen minutes, it's no biggy.

I did, however, because I felt that it was only fair to justify my character's actions. It's ridiculous, and frankly insulting, to assume that everybody who is applying for a Minor VA is just in it for the minas and items. I got the chance to exercise that VA for the first time about a week ago, I stumbled upon quite a few situations where I could've overstepped my boundaries and stolen more than what my character would. I did not, I stole in small amounts and I only stole things that Gorbo would've found valuable or useful. I also left roleplay signs, a practice that seems to have died out in the majority of other villains.

I agree with Mog, a mix between the two would probably work the best.

Though I have disagreed with some of your decisions and opinions at times I've never lost my respect for you, Native. You've been a great leader and you are a great person, good luck in your real life endeavors!

This will change very little for the play-2-winners, they can demand you pay them, they can threaten you with death but they can do nothing to follow through on it without an actual VA. As for those who may steal from chests, they still need to pick the lock and that requires a VA as well. This will really only allow for threats to be made and for pickpocketing and such. @VAT I love you. 'Nuff said.
