MC Name: sebasgann RP Name: Korvic How skilled are you in regards to smithing? My character is somewhat skilled, he's been watching others smith since he was young and has been spending much of his time examining the earth, the metals, its weight, the mass, everything to do with the earth. He is an excellent prospector, and has spent much time smithing, but not as much as he has prospecting ores and such. How skilled are you with your weapon of choice? He doesn't quite have a weapon of choice, he's bee studying a form of enchantment the wizards use to inscribe certain runes of power onto equipment and tools, and has little fighting experience. Korvic prefers his skill in inscribing runes of power, repairing and crafting equipment for others to be his instrument of power. Biogaphy: Korvic is a dwarf with yellow eyes, dark brown hair that gleams feint red in the light. He is 4''7' and is 243 years old. Korvic was raised like any other, playing around the mines with the other bearded children, stole ores from the mine carts, toyed and examined them and has developed a certain liking to the earth. As time progressed Korvic began to wonder the realm, he traveled to the different Dwarven holds, watched and tried to learn from blacksmiths far and across, noting and examining the practices of the different blacksmiths. Though he's practiced little what he remembers he still has his notes on him at all time. Korvic has spent the last few years under a collected wizards who are working secretly trying to discover truths not known, experimenting and compiling knowledge. He's recently read upon what the wizards guild knows about runic inscription and wishes to explore the realm once more in search of similar practices, to find other runes of power others have discovered, and through those runes of power he wishes to refine his smithing techniques so that he can fashion armor more finer than anyone has witnessed. What will you add to the guild? Korvic has learned what he can from the Wizards and can offer what he knows about runic enscribtion, he can also offer his new advancements toward future runes he finds, and offer his work to the guild. How active are you on the server? I'm quite active, I'm on from time to time and always have my ear on teamspeak, and am easy to reach in case of emergency.

Legion Defense Important note: IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THE LEGION POST. DO SO NOW, IT IS VITAL THAT YOU DO SO. SO THAT YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH THE LEGION. If you have a question that need be answered that cannot be answered from the post, then ask an officer or an experienced legionnaire. http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/topic/76041-the-legion-information-thread-wip/ Important note. All legionnaires are guards and all legionnaires are required to guard something at nearly all times unless you are participating in another organization at the moment or honing a skill such as cooking or lumbering exc. Idle Legionnaires will receive a task and are to obey orders unless given sufficient reasoning why they cannot. The Reserves: The Reserves is the position legionnaires that do not report guard duty to an officer and have other responsibilities but must be called out to battle if an officer requests your presence. The Reserves will not be paid but must report to practices when told unless the Legionnaire gives good reason or cannot. If the legionnaire simply wishes not to then he will simply not take the benefit of practice. The Reserve troops can take up guard duty when they please though they are not required to and will not be payed for it. But if a legionnaire in the Reserves wishes to be part of the Guard, then they can switch and take the responsibilities of the Guard. The Guard: The Guard is the peacetime of legionnaires who protect vital parts of the Kingdom. The Guard will be payed every elven week for their duties. The Guard will have to report their duties to an officer. Inactivity: (Will be lenient) Those in The Guard who are missing for over an elven week will be labeled missing and will take honor penalties for every elven day thereafter for another elven week where after the second week they are missing they are presumed dead and their rank will be stripped but honor will remain. If a legionnaire wishes to regain his rank after they’ve been stripped, then they will have to go to practices in order to re familiarize with the Legion after their absence, and battles to regain the feeling of war that is required by some ranks. ((Unless you’ve stated that you will be gone before hand or aforehand that something strange and unexpected occurred, then your status will remain untouched. Improved guarding system: Legionnaires will receive honor for guarding important locations such as Guild Halls Kings Castle Gate Guild Hall Guards must belong to the guild hall they are guarding. This is to encourage activity among the guilds. Ironbreakers receive the privilege of guarding the kings castle and will receive additional honor. Patrols: Legionnaires grouped in a party of 4, can patrol our lands, checking the neighboring holds and forts. One of the legionnaires Legion Representatives: Ironbreakers receive the ability to become Legion Representatives. These representatives are selected legionnaires by an officer given the task to represent the legion in another hold. Their job is to aid the Hold as a guard, and inform the Legion of raids, so the Legion Army can march upon the battlefield to aid them. Reporting: When reporting from a patrol, all members must be present for the report as all members should stay with one another. There is no excuses as to why anyone should be late. Exceptions are that you were either attacked and got spread out ((someone had to go)) or any other unexpected event that occurred. Also, when reporting for duty, activity will only be reported on the elven day. If you report time or activities from any past elven day, then it will be forfeited ((Unless you have good reason or you reported but the times were not imputed. You are responsible for your honor so be responsible. Track your honor before and after reporting to make sure you get the honor you deserve.)) These changes will be implemented one elven week after the test, in the meantime, study over the Legion manifest for the test. This Document isn't official as of yet.

I'm wondering if there is a set of unique fish for the mushroom biome because the dwarves do have a shroom biome. If there is then can I please get a response and if there isn't then It would have been very nice for the dwarves to have a unique set of fish restricted from all the other races. It would have created an interest in the dwarven city which seems to be a large issue, that there is apparently no pull factors to the city. It would have just made RP between a fishing guild (when that gets started up) and the dwarves.

Calling All Ex-Rangers And Those Interested
River replied to Caln McHarnish/porkchopp2's topic in Anthos Roleplay Archive
((I was the blacksmith for the ranger of the forrests in Aegis waaay back when :D )) Aah, ol' friends, Ah was wonderin' if yer were teh ol' guild I once knew. Well, teh dwarves are practicin' wit' crossbows so if aneh of ye can make way to teh Dwarf Capitol and speak wit' un of teh commanders 'r meh den I can arrange a practice f'r one of yer best to 'elp wit'. -Thurland Grandaxe, Legion Head Guard. -
((Do not forget that this is a RP server and in small numbers it can be achieved, it just means that if we have large numbers then we would have to move in different groups, Formations is a nice addition to the RP but should'nt be as stressed as it once was now that we are all familiar with it or most of us, if there is a problem, then give a shoutin.)) I want'd tu voice meh oppinion tha' since our armeh be large and a numb'r o' us be unproffesional den we shuld set aside a number o' leggionaires tu be listed as researves. Dis'l make it noice so they can spend their toime doin' sumthin' else for teh Kingdom besoides guardin' it durrin' peace toimes. An teh Leggionaires need to du their job! Ah see maneh of ye sleepin' in yer bunks o' 'eard of ye wanderin' 'round teh woilds and stuff. Ah thin' tha' more of teh leggionaires shuld stop abandonen their dutehs and start providen securiteh to it. Wut if we're attacked by dragons again? whoile yer walkin' around nae doin' yer job. ((The Legion is composed of almost every dwarf on the server and there are other jobs for dwarves that need doing so keeping in mind that when the skills/profesions system is implemented then there will be some complications as to some leggionaires leaving so setting a those who wish to be a part of both can be part of the researves where they participate in practices and skirmishes/battles but continue with their daily life honing their craft. In that case leggionaires will need to stop running around the map and acting kind in the wilds and start guarding the City. Hopefully this is something I can help with my new granted authority. Sorry for the bad spelling here and there but you get the point :I))

Belated Newsletter - Recent And Future Updates
River replied to Danny's topic in News & Announcements Archive
Well Its nice to see that at least we know where we're at and that we've for the least been informed, late, of our situation. So, at least I've been informed on something, so its safe for me not to hope for anything else that will come anytime soon. I'm guessing that we probably wont get our professions until my summer starts. So, in the meantime, the Dwarven City will continue to look as so; http://i.imgur.com/S664al0.jpg Now, if you look close enough, you'll see one person, including me, which seems to be the most number of players online compared to... http://i.imgur.com/1Y36PlM.png 120 people online, If I do my math correctly... 118 the number of players online somewhere not in one of the major capitols. Well, it seems to be Dwarven problem because, from what I've seen, other races do just a wee bit better on players despite the large number of dwarfs. I don't know if there aren't any pull factors or if there's just something wrong but I don't like how things are progressing. Make of it what you want because I have my own interpretation of this and I don't like it. There's plenty I'd like to say on regards to the progress we've made in the time of 3.0 and how much we've been informed. So for the least, as we move closer toward the summer where players begin to be active for long periods of time, I hope the server has a balanced and already situated for everyone to have a great summer. Thanks for informing us on where we stand right now, so i'm going to hope for the best as i press the 'Post' button. -
^^ that sums it up (Telchar) and you forgot to mention the Legionnaire of the week ((year ic)) system.

MC name: Sebasgann Character Name: GRD_Adept_High_Smith_Seb Forum name: sebasgann Mining level: 51 Excavation level:52 Blacksmith level:100 Why do ye want te join? because im a dwarf, im a master smith, im eager, i wish to take in all that Asulon has to offer, learn from others, benifit others, my character has a background for being raised a mason and architect. i wish to learn form and contribute best to the guild in anyway that i can. If ther would be one thing ye want to change in teh city, what would it be, and how? Well, i wanted to specify in defense, specificly stratigic architecture, that best suit a fort. But also favor stratigic advantage, i would elevate parts of a town or city, kingdom so that it would be easier to secure areas and trap enemies, limiting the points one might strike. Walls and gates over these points might be an aid to it if walls are already installed into the city, town, fort ect... We are often in teh dwarf channel on TS3 te communicate. Would ye use it often if ye wher te be accepted into teh guild? Well, i wouldn't mind using it but i dont really know how to use it. so if i could learn i would deffinently be on it since im requested to be on TS for other people except another that rarely requests of it. Any previous work? ((screenshots are good)) ((il post some later if my application isnt good enough.))

To Join the Guild Use the Following Layout: MC Name:Sebasgann RP Name:GRD_Adept_Sebasgann What is your smithing skill: 100 What is your skill in either axe or sword: Axe Reason For Joining/Bio (at least 1 paragraph): I find that connecting with my dwarven brothers after searving a mix of races is to reestablish my connection. I find that the location of the guild is interesting, and the area is under construction, so i feel i can help. I also feel that because im a great smith the guild could use someone like me. Im a friend of Trod and know that he was once powerful in Aegis and ive seems to trust one another so keeping in tact can be good. My main reason for wanting to join is it looks like an exiting place, many people are active, theres a lot of iron guts, several kinsman, and i feel like i can be of some help to the guild. What Will You Add to the Guild: Im an explosives expert, i have 100 smithing, im very familiar with traps, am a good fighter, am also an expert in stratigic military architecture. i can benifit with the guild as a smither, and as a builder in the state that the guild hall is in. i can best contribute my knowledge to the construction of it when it is put back into play.

((whats supposed to happen?))

((i got lost lol haha. somewhere on the road where you free roam those mountains, been wondering the area for glenwood but cant find it. i thought i bound there but **** i guess not))
-
that sounds like a nice idea but i think a meeting should be held about the construction of glenwood and exactly what the plan is. since we have recently retaken it and will begin construction of somesort, and our limiting members that stop us from fully opperating two places when weve completed glenwood, the topic of recruitment should be something a little more encouraged. and while im on the topic we might just get another two members, ((friends from school)) that can benifit our numbers. that put our numbers are somewhere nearing the 20's, and from what i see the ranks are a bit sloppy if i have any right to say so. ((also seems i will be getting on as early as tonight my time, or tommarow midday my time))
-
well im soory but i wont be playing as much since my sister completle fucked up the computer. so if i want to play im going to have go bestbuy across streat. il be participating through the forums since i have a playstation so feel free to update me on whats going on through PM or something. probably wont be active for a VERY LONG time. take to it as you will.

think of it this way. theres little reason we should be eating when we can have a profesional cook who is capable of cooking lots of food, more for it and its roleplay that we have a arange of food. the wood is simple, chop more of it, charcoal is only a need if there is someone constantly cutting wood since wood is of a great importance to the guild at the moment hell since we need to for our construction but also so we can sell, for monetary gain to buy stuff for the guild. probably best to leave things as it is the way the guild is going its one thing that the guild is getting a lot of members and leave most jobs to the profesionals in the occupation unless theyre on a trip.
