I've played it all the way through. It gets worse... much much worse.

I watched a playthrough of Outlast and oh-my-god it was terrifying and amazing! Because I was looking forward to A-MFP for so long, I've decided to view nothing on it until I get it, but from what I've been told, a lot of the mechanics from the first game have been taken out and it's more story driven no, so I'm a little offput.

You will not be disappointed in Outlast. I played the whole game myself and it gets pretty intense. I loved it personally, best horror game of the year.

According to what I've been told, it's a great game, but not for the same reasons as the original Amnesia. If you want it for the sake of having a decent game, get it. If you want it for the sake of getting the same gameplay as Amnesia, don't.
