More OOC, wellwhaddayaknowboi Seeing as I've only been RPing with the Rose for two days, I'm not a full member and my opinion probably isn't worth much. That being said, I RP'd a Dark Elf warrior and prince for almost 10 months with my previous character. While I wasn't the most famous of dark elves, I had a small reputation with my name and some of the guild recognized me from my elven days. When 2.5 hit I whipped up another character (since Ashur is dead) and started RPing with their chars while getting to know them in TS. Not only have they accepted me with open arms, but they've been very approachable and I honestly haven't seen any sort of elven hatred from them (at least OOCly). Any sort of racism or hate you may find is RP - nothing more, nothing less.

EDIT: We've transferred to 2.5 as of last evening, so this event is null. Requesting a move to denied events. (this is an actual event proposal, not an attempt at trolling) Event Planners, MC Names: Cosmik, and anyone willing to help plan. Event Type: Natural Disaster Event Date: The day before / the day of 2.5's release. Factions/Nations effected by the event: All Event Location: The main temp map's island (with the volcano), spreading outward. Summary: In retrospect, we should've seen it all coming... During our time on the islands we tried to ignore the presence of the rumbling volcano and the demons that made their home in it's blood-red cliffs. When it began to erupt massive meteors that burned down entire forests and plains when they struck, we shrugged off the subliminal messages that they conveyed to the survivors. We didn't do a damned thing. Now the day of reckoning is upon us, for we have sinned. Against what, we have no idea... but the volcano is not pleased and neither are it's keepers. As the volcano groaned far louder than it ever had before, it suddenly began to split like rotting wood, releasing lava that incinerated all in it's path. The pigmen charged away from their home, terrified by the widespread destruction, striking at all that dared walk in their path. The horrifying Ghasts that made their filthy nests within the cracking mountain screamed as they abandoned their cracks, leveling entire mountains with their righteous wrath. The forests are aflame. The sea is boiling. The sky is black with the stains of death. Entire islands are being shattered. Monsters hiss and screech as they go haywire, tearing like rabid dogs at our people and the doors they shut themselves behind. I thought we escaped this when we fled Aegis... Concept Images/Screenshots: Other Information: This is basically an event to cap off our times on the islands as we move on to 2.5. Since this is an alternate timeline and not canon lore, it would be fun to end our time here by having one last hurrah and see who can survive the onslaught of the volcano. Obviously there's limits to what can be done based on our server's limits, but I'd like to see a true challenge presented to the playerbase to see who can outlast the swarms of monsters. The volcano will explode, causing lava to roll down all it's sides and besiege anything in it's path. The soot and smoke would blot out the sun, and all mobs would be replaced with Ghasts and pigmen. Any and all plot protections would be removed. Perhaps an untimely storm could deal with survivors on boats with a blast of lightning or two... This event isn't meant to be won - it's meant to annihilate every single living thing within a hundred miles. But that's the fun of it: trying to give death the finger by surviving unconquerable odds. That was the fun of defending against Undead attacks, and it'll be a truly epic conclusion to our time on the islands. Do you need the Event Team's assistance?: I'd probably need GMs rather than the event team, but if you can spawn monsters, then yes. If so, do you require actors and/or builders?: Nope.
