- The Reckoning - Entry 7, Day 11 As I heard the sound of a Vehicle I dropped down with my two comrades, wading through the tall grass as we spot a Tractor riding by, Pat ”Vini” Jameson instantly took out his binoculars and scouted the horizon, a man was running.. he was faster than our tired legs could carry, we shouted but the man did not seem to respond back to us as he ran up a hill, we attempted to catch up as we reach the top of the hill, the man seems to have.. disappeared, vanished into thin air as we proceed with our journey, slowly we reach the Airfield as we spot two armed men camouflaged in Ghillie suits, we narrow our eyes as we nod at eachother, Barney “Wullu” Brown takes aim as he closes one eye, he looks through the scope with the other as his finger is firmly held against the trigger, he shoots as one of the armed men falls, blood quickly staining the ground as he vanishes just like the other man, “Witchcraft!” I mutter as I attempt to flank them, sliding along the wall as I hear another shot being fired, one man falls who was later identified as “Atles”, I continue as sweat drips from my forehead, I hear some rummaging to the other side of the wall, “Who could it be?” was I asking myself, wicked thoughts running through my mind as I shift around the corner, our eyes locked on eachother as I pulled the trigger, the man fell to the ground as I moved back, quickly one of his comrades attempts to save him, I turn and shoot the same direction once more, taking him out as he lets out a cry of agony. Quickly I return to my fellow comrades, both sitting behind a bush as Barney “Wullu” Brown falls to his knees, in his back a gaping wound as Pat ”Vini” Jameson becomes enraged, swiftly taking out the last man standing before he vanishes, I must admit though.. I am not surprised by anything after I saw Zombies roaming the earth, I could have sworn the last one looked like...
